I think that the people who rock up and ride then go home do very well @ $130.
Yeah LOL ... $170 PLUS additional class costs and PLUS one event National Fees mate.... Wasn't far short of $300. This event is ONLY $120 and you QLD'ers were having a go at us from NSW for not entering down here due to cost?? :D :D :DDon't speak too soon old mate, you can be sure we'll still get plenty of entries..
It's all about riding with mates, siting around the fire and having a laugh. Believe me being behind the scenes with the club over the last four years or so the costings of any event do not get cheaper. This is a stand alone event which everyone has plenty of time to save up for. The club has tried for many a year to keep the cost down as much as possible . So lets all move on and look forward to all the hard work put in behinds the scenes by the club and have a top weekend. ;D
Might be a YZ 250B ;)Are you threatening to come over again? Well make your bloody mind up quick and I will get a couple organised for you. The Ossa for one and one of dads cz's. the 85 cr500 has your name on it too!
And it is my favourite track in the world ;D ;D ;DWhat cyou're saying is it's better than Farleigh :o :o
Conondale is one of the best tracks in Oz and so is Toowoomba.. But Farleigh is maybe just that little bit betterAnd it is my favourite track in the world ;D ;D ;DWhat cyou're saying is it's better than Farleigh :o :o
Wait 'til you ride Echo Valley then.
No probs TM, if you're there we'll get you a swing for sure.they put the grrr in swinger baby yeah!
lets look at the entries and throw them all together then, 10 year members could be a start?Holy crap! I started in '07. It's been nearly ten years for me. Missed it by a year.
cheers worms
How did you go at maths? 07 to 13 is only 6 years.. But it probably feels like 9 with all the bikes you've built!lets look at the entries and throw them all together then, 10 year members could be a start?Holy crap! I started in '07. It's been nearly ten years for me. Missed it by a year.

Participants in the Come and Try ride sessions will not be affected.I entered my dad in the procession type ride. Rather than assuming , does it include that 'class'?
Simo, please no phone calls...we'll tell you about over a beer at the meeting.
Talked to Mr Crocket last night and we have plenty of entries so that's good, we've just got to hope this bloody rain buggers off, going to Hervey Bay on the weekend if anyone interested to watch the MX Nationals, probably just for the day...
Approax 160 entries now and more to come......it's gonna be awesome. That's unreal, will probably be bigger than any recent Nationals. Many entries from south of the border?
Firko, you could be a movie star as well as drinking some MoorGeist schannps. 8)That'd be great but unfortunately I won't be able to get up there....my barista took another fall and is back in hospital .
Personally I've ridden at every Connondale Classic since inception bar one due to unforseen circumstances ,and I've watched it get to be What I think is the biggest and best VMX RACE MEETING in Aus..An entry to the MX nat ,s is $300 plus and they don't have half as much fun as us. Hell in the old days I'd spill more than $130 on a good night out as would a lot of you...............one event I hope never to miss................Make the most of it...might be our last :'(
Make the most of it...might be our last :'(
Thanks Worms, I knew I would ;D NOT.Why are some sidecars pulling out? There's 160+ solo riders and I haven't heard of any of them withdrawing...
Not sure anyone wins out of this.
Two sidecars are out due to it and others are hedging.
On a positive note, went to the track today with the Fox's, looks great, we have made a few changes but will be a fast flowing track.....roll on next weekend.
Obviously you where never a good graffiti artist.....you wasted more paint on your gloves, boots and pants than they use to repaint the Story Bridge......thanks for the help today......I wonder if the cows are sleeping under your annex yet?....I''ll have a large thin crust peperoni and a large thin crust vegetarian, 2 garlic breads and a coke. ;D
As an added bonus, there's this huge Yank Aircraft Carrier that's just docked in the port of Brisbane if you want to check it out.....I think it carry's more aircraft than the entire Australian airforce has.....the USS George Washington...5500 sailors on board....I guess our local "escorts" are going to be busy.....hey Robo....might be some work for you? ;DAs a 'hands across the sea' gesture of goodwill why doesn't the club send an invitation down to the George Washington inviting any VMX fans on board a free day out at the races....Just thinking out aloud 8).
They are here for a week.....gotta watch em though...we don't want them stealing our women. ;D

how could you compare echo valleyHave you ridden both? Echo Valley is an awesome track.

I think a special thank you should go to the COC Peter Bell. This guy is a deadset legend, and as riders we should thank him whenever we get the chance. He runs a great meeting, someone asked how they were going to get though all the races on the Saturday well he got it done with a number of stoppages and gave us a great Pro race to finish the day. I got out of the place just before 6pm he was still on the tractor getting the track ready for this week end.
Is this Peter Bell NSR ? He's a great MA scout, calmly cruising at big events. 8)

Be great if someone could post some race results even the top ten from the Pro class would be nice.here here slakewell and a few photos while they are at it :P
Get on Facebook if you want photos, there's a truckload on there including mine..Thanks johnnyO will ask the daughter if I can get on her face book and have a look ;)
The photo's I have access to have to be sorted for VMX magazine and Transmoto, ...I'll try and get hold of some results. Its on my new bucket list to do ;) Thanks for posting some of the results Mr tate ;)
Pro class was Darryl King x 3 firsts, Glen Bell was getting the 2nd's, I think your Horwoods got a couple of 3rds and 5ths, Deacon had bike issues along with Dave Armstrong, Brad Vanbarrelo got 4th, 6th? and 4th?, there where some fast guys there I didn't know. Darryl was only riding 3/4 pace. Shane King got a 3rd and a couple of bike issues. Team green rules. Mic, make sure you come next year.
What has this got to do with the 2013 Conondale Classic.
