Just looking at the riders list in the program, the classes are every bit as competitive as an Aussie title. The pre 90 open is stacked with big name pro's from the 80's..
The biggest lineup of talent in a Aussie VMX race ever!

The Biggest Field Ever ready for the 2013 Maxima Racing Oils Conondale Classic
This weekend's Maxima Racing Oils Conondale Classic has attracted the biggest field of motocross machinery from the 1960s through to the 1980s seen in Australia.

With riders the calibre of 1996 World Motocross Champion Shayne King and his multi national champion brother Darryl on hand to take on a plethora of Aussie flyers led by Glenn Bell, James Deakin, Dave Armstrong, Geoff Ballard, Andrew Bailey and Darren Smart.

The Conondale facility is just 20 minutes West of Maleny and there will be a full program of racing on Saturday and Sunday.

The Horwood bros are ridding and will be competitive if the Kato's hold up to the pace they can dish out. Both Aus champs.
Can someone post a programe please.

You should be here racing Mic, we are in heaven up here, couldn't be better, any locals you want to come and watch, do it , pits are packed and buzzing, everyone is running around like a kid in a lolly shop, we have some great sponsors, even better riders, this is a must to do for VMX racing in Aussie, hopefully someone will start putting photo's up tomorrow.

Well, I'm back at the motel for a good nights sleep, rider numbers over 180 and I reckon 500 plus bikes, people are camped all the way down the pit road and even in the bloody creek, Darryl King gave everyone a lesson on how to ride an 89 KX500 FAST.....Glen Bell was the best of the locals and wasn't far behind Darryl in the second Pro class....Brad Vanbarrelo rode magnificently in the first Pro class to come home 4th......the Horwood bro's are super quick on Darryl Lewis's big Kato 500's......(Slaky, you should have come)...EVO open had 40 on the grid....Evo 250, the pre85 and 90 classes where full as well. I don't know what you guy's are doing down south but VMX is alive and well in Queensland. All the racing was super quick, weather absolutely perfect and a great buzz around the place. I'm looking forward to toomorow. We had 2 guys from South Aust, people from Sydney, Cairns, Victoria....fark, I've been everywhere man. This event now rates as the biggest VMX race meet in the Southern hemisphere....put it on your bucket list if you haven't done it.For all you girls out there, Tamara Grey cleaned up the boy's on her 81 RM125... 8). Shutzy now knows that riders of pre75 bikes are tough bastards [you didn't tell me they don't have any suspension and now I'm 3 inches shorter]. Some pickies tomorrow.

I hope the Kato's didn't break as the Horwood bro's were kicking ass as of this morning phone call.
