Yeah LOL ... $170 PLUS additional class costs and PLUS one event National Fees mate....  Wasn't far short of $300. This event is ONLY $120 and you QLD'ers were having a go at us from NSW for not entering down here due to cost??   :D :D :D

Don't speak too soon old mate, you can be sure we'll still get plenty of entries..

This event seems like an absolute cracker and I'd love to one day get it it, $130 is a piss in ocean for an event that offers as much as this. Yeah there might be a few other costs too but regardless, seems like bloody good value to me!!
THE SEXMAX.....coming soon to an Evo race near you!!! Lining up right along side the soon to be released TEDMAX!!!

Geez lama, some people are hard to please....you also get your novelty race on Sunday and your 2 practice sessions....don't forget that most trollies don't last that many laps. ;D....Rookie, would love to see you come up....the sunshines waiting for you and you can help Lama push his trolley.

You should all stop complaining about the cost. I'm sure the club had no choice. Remember they hire the track from Sunshine Coast MCC. Sure they could use slightly cheaper medical personnel, but do you want that. Just get your entries in and speaking as a Race Secretary (not the RS) don't try to enter on the phone. Nominate isn't hard to use and it only costs you 3%. I have got that weekend off so the cost to me also includes two days pay. Luckily my licence runs out at midnight Sunday 4th August, so I don't have that cost too. Just get your entry in so the RS can get the program together ASAP. Also please support the sponsors, Maxima Oil is very good slippery stuff.

Can't help but think if things keep going up so much our bikes will go back in the shed and it will be back to bench racing, I to think its getting way to expensive to have a bit of fun on my bike, I cannot understand a 50 percent increase in cost from last year, I will be there to ride just the same if all goes well, sorry I'm with Adam on this one...   Just my opinion....

It has obviously got a lot to do with track hire to start with.i don't think the club is going to rip us off.  I'm pretty sure also that the gp? Club day at conondale cost me like $120 and that was for one day. It would be easy to have it at Biddaddaba where there is no cost for the track but for the facilities and track and great two day event that it is I think it's a great bang for your buck. I can spend more than that on a night out at a less than fancy restaurant. Surely if you ride just a few events over the year it would still be cheaper to get a national licence rather than a one event licence. At the end of the day it's a form of motor racing. It's not friggin tennis. Ride or drive just about anything else and I bet it's dearer than this.

It's all about riding  with mates, siting around the fire and having a laugh. Believe me being behind the scenes with the club over the last four years or so the costings of any event do not get cheaper. This is a stand alone event which everyone has plenty of time to save up for. The club has tried for many a year to keep the cost down as much as possible . So lets all move on and look forward to all the hard work put in behinds the scenes by the club and have a top weekend.  ;D
My fastest lap is the first one :)

I'm with Brian on this. It is a stand alone event and I'm as keen as for a National race for it each year.
And you can't say we ever get good value...the Wasp only does a couple of laps before it retires :D :D
This year, with Wyarralong, Harrisville, Condomdale and Echo Valley is a riders dream come true...great value at any cost really. Kinda like The Highway Men, The Eagles, Santana and Neil Young concerts all in one year...what would that cost??
