If anyone finds the front wheel I somehow managed to leave behind, there's a reward offered...

Nathan
Suzuki rim? Tymmes had it and was going to give it to Jock or Adam.

What a sensational weekend, thank you to all involved ; the Land owner, and the Cooka organising crew.

I loved the grass track section Brooksie. :) Long live the slasher / mower.

That's the one. Gold DR200 rim.
I'll hit up Maicoman next time I'm in that part of the world.
Thanks to everyone who saved it from my stupidity.

.... some well practiced down hill off camber gymnastics. I must say , I was cheated by my riding buddies many times on the grass track but as you know the good guy always prevails , particularly after he works out a better cheater line.

Oh yes, Team Dustvarna NSW.

I made the mistake of letting them past on my second lap. It really is remarkable that they can kick up so much dust while riding so slowly - I initially thought that they were dragging their feet along the ground, but apparently not.
Then I made the mistake of following their fearless leader up the long hill after the dam, thinking he had some inside knowledge of a sweet line. Halfway up, I realised that he didn't - his journey up the hill was an odd mix tank slapping and swapping... I later came to the conclusion that 99% of the wild and crazy lines you see at a Vinduro belong to him.

Then I saw their (other) fearless leader dragging his bike off a large dead log, about three metres off the course...

They went back to their camp after this, presumably for a Bex and a good lie down.

 ;D

Nice one , young man

"Let them past "  8) , the way you were wobbling through section one we all thought we were about to drop to new low and dustinate a diasabled rider.

"and" I was just resting on that large log , although my front wheel was firmly stuck on the other side of the other side of the log , its still counted as resting.

Great week-end and see you round like a triangle.

Turn it up "boys"

One of you wants to be fast and the other is a jet that just flat out punishes any machine into submission.

Its time that you both fessed up your love and want for the marquee brand .  you want it we know you want it and you will be so much better for it.

Hey Billy

The greens say that hells running out of heat.

Its only a matter of time Brother before you make the switch.

Hell ,  the scrap value of the barrels on those thing would enormous , so you could buy into the marquee team no problems.

No wonder the manufacturing nation nearly went broke , most of the valuable metals and other raw materials went into making those barrels.

We had already caught you we stopped to give you a head start we also thought it would be better if we tied the KTM to the back of the husky as an anchor so we could slow the Husky wolf pack down so the Kawasaki could keep up!

The bikes that did the most laps were all Japanese... Not sure if its because of their superior reliability, or because nobody wants to ride an old Euro bike for more than one lap/45 minutes at a time.

The bikes that did the most laps were all Japanese...

Yes.

This included....

First place (14 laps), Second Place (12 laps), and four people tied for 3rd place (10 laps each), and yes... all were Japanese bikes!

Don't know if you realised Nathan but when you past me at the start you bumped into me as I was looking the other way for the rest of the wolf pack as you knocked me my hand was still on the throttle next thing I know I am careering down the track one handed on the back wheel wondering what was happening!
