Any word yet on what classes have been approved for this meeting?
Still a while off but sooner would be better than later.

No it's Frank Stanboroughs old Metisse that TH bought from the next owner who'd hurt himself pretty badly on it and had to retire. I think the Evans Metisses are still for sale.

TH jnr will be the pilot at Temora and will go pretty hard.
Greg Mclean now owns the Col Evans Matcho and should also be at Temora.
Greg is the guy who broke his collarbaone at the Griffith classic titles then broke the other one at last years titles in Canberra, he rode a green 360 Yamaha Flattracker thingamy bob.
Has there been any confirmation on what classes will be run at Temora yet?
Need to get the word out soon.

last year cost us and we never even got there , as like many told of the split at the last minute .
Why is it the DT Nationals are the best kept secret ?

Dam it Noel, why couldn't you have put them up a few hours ago.
I'm just of the blower after making 4 phone calls trying to get as close to the horse's mouth as I could.
This is not 100% confirmed as yet but close to 99%, I would put my money on this Temora meeting being a CLASSIC Title only event, with a few support classes thrown in.
The other point of note is that it will be a TRIALS REAR TYRE ONLY event, for those wanting to be as close to the pointy end of the field as possible I've been told the best suitable front tyre is a competition square block trials tyre, so leave your 19"s at home.
To avoid confusion please SPREAD THE WORD on both decisions and also if you know of a club that might be interested in holding the 2013 Post Classic Titles, better pull your finger's out.
Hopefully I'll see you at Temora but I'll be on the safe side of the fence.
Thanks to Noel for the contact details so if you need to know more you can hear it for yourself.
Cheers, Steve

Is this going to be the end of Evo ,Pre 85 ect competing at a national level ?.
Why was noboby told of the split ?.
To anounce it now is a bit late as now another club has to put its hand up if they want it .
Very disapointed once again . >:(

That's a shame, this should have been sorted last year. I still reckon they can fit it all in the one weekend if they know their shit on running a big meeting. I'm also dead set in opposition to the tyre regs. That's not how our sport should be run. Tyre choice should be up to the individual, it's not budget racing it's an Aussie Championship. As a hypothetical, what if I enter my 750 Yamaha flat tracker? A trials tyre would last about two laps with 65-70 horsepower going through it.

If it's trials tyres only, then mine are staying in the shed 'cos I'm not gunna rip up two Michy's when a K70 or equivalent would a better tyre choice for the surface AND that's what we used back in the day. Total BS

GDR, MA made it official in Jan or Feb last year that the titles would be split and it was the introduction of pre90 and age classes in EVO that made it happen so it ain't new.
Foss & Firko, I really hope you both know how much I respect your opinions and I know what I'm gunna say won't cause a rift.
I totally understand what you're saying but that's the decision that's been made for whatever reason but for the sake of the sport I really think we need to support the Temora club.
Finding a club prepared to take on the Post Classic Titles is an absolute priority.
Cheers, Steve
