I can't see them ripping up their usual track surface for one meeting but that's a decision for Temora.
It'll be a great meeting whatever happens.

I haven't competed at the Dirt Track Nats in years but if all systems go will be this year (as an entrant this time). I'm a self funded retiree on a limited budget and have two brand new still in the wrapper Mitas trials tyres and an almost new Michelin ready to go and might still go with my 20 year old Carlilse and Pirelli MT63 combo on the 250. However I have no problem with competitors purchasing ready made Maxxis or Dunlop flat track tyres if that's what they want to use. I don't think its fair to introduce tyre restrictions into an event that's never resorted to restrictions in the past. There's more to winning than just fitting a certain tyre, even those trick Maxxis and Continental road race wet weather tyres need some attention before they work properly...........Run what ya brung I say.

Does anyone know if the Pre 65 class at the aussie titles will have a Pre 65 250cc class or just Pre 65 all powers?

I reckon it'll come down to entries. If enough pre 65 250's enter the organisors would have to provide a class.

To constitute an Australian Championship in Classic and Post Classic Dirt Track, there must be the following minimum number of entries that practice and race

Pre 60 :-     6
Pre 65 :-     6
Sidecars:-   6
Women:-     6

All other classes :- 10

Super Senior:- no minimum number

so Foss and Firko with wat you's are saying if theres enough entries for the 250 class they will run pre 65 pre 70 pre 75 pre78 evo and pre85 so long as they got numbers and can handle that many race categories. if they do ill be running a 69 mod greeves griffon in  pre70 and the hagon in pre 78  .
    Firko by the way i talked the old man into racing again this year dont no how many meets before temora but he comin down there with me bringing the 380 griffon for pre75  opens and possibly his hagon 2 valve jawa.

Will not be The Temora Crew know how to make the track good, Knobbies out of the equation Trials tyres will get you around the track
