Jay, why not come on down to race at next years Nats or to party and ride at Classic Dirt? We've had a number of your fellow countrymen race at the Nats and a few at Classic Dirt over the years and all of them have had a hoot of a time. I doubt you'd have any problems finding bikes to race or ride and places to stay, we're a pretty friendly down here . You're welcome to race any of my bikes......come on down, you'll love it.

Firko, next years Pre 78 Nats are at Harrisville, a couple of K's from Willowbank Raceway (30k's from Brisbane), awesome track, it will be fast, 4th and 5th of May I'm lead to believe....start getting those old jalopies ready......no excuses for not having 3 or 4 of your bikes there Mark....and if Jay wants to come on down, theres plenty of bikes to ride, infact Brad may have the Ossa you sold him going.....wouldnt that be a hoot....ride one of your bikes 2 million miles away ....Col Metcher was at Crystal Brook and he's running it so he knows how high the bars set. Cant wait.

Too bad ! There was more than a suspicion of "aah, bugger it!" about the Crystal Brook nats, and as usual those who ignored all the negativity turned up and had a blinder, by all accounts. Those from Qld who refuse to travel out of state because everywhere's too far had better support both events to the max, and out-of-staters have plenty of notice and time to sort out whether to attend one, two, or none of the events on offer.
Baz, if there's one thing I've learnt from running bike race events, it's that you can't worry about what might happen, or who you might upset. Book the date, and give it buggery : Freaky and the gang from the Crystal Brook club have just proved that in spades.

Awesome track, four & five lap races, spot on weather, lovely people.
My bikes ran well, memorable week.

fastest lap time was about 1:56 average was 2:15 - period, age or size didnt seem to make a lot of differance
