2011 VMX Nationals

Rumour has it that next years Nationals will be in either SA or NSW or maybe WA. Only the NT has missed out so where's it meant to be??
I for one reckon Levin in NZ is the go from the picts on the other thread.

THere is a National pre 75 only event being held next year in Pt Pirie by Frank and the scamble guys.

Booking in for the Easter weekend.

 Easter, you may have trouble in booking it for easter, MA has booked broadford for that weekend each year so l have been told, I would check that out, but if S.A. does have the Nats next year, l would like to ride that meeting, l like South Australia, rode their lots in the good old days.

The NT may be hosting a round of the National MX series next year but alas no VMX
I need to convinve vintage my riding buddies they need pre 75 bikes..

NO dont get me wrong, the Easter pre 75 meeting is not an MA nats event.   its a stand alone event, due to the 5 day in 2011 they are looking to get the qld and wa to meet up and that was the place they dececded was half way and doable for all.

I have the class lists and event details here somewhere or speak to JBS frank, he was putting it together from  what i remember from a convo with him at braodford, looked like a cheap  entry fee etc ( think it was $100 and you can ride as many bikes and classes as you like and that include the presentation dinner too on the sunday night     so a vintage only event worth the drive.

i guess it will become the unofficial pre 75 only Nats

Hi Guys,
There is only one true national championship and that is the one sanctioned by MA and the venue is yet to be chosen/s. So if your club has spoken about it or you would like to see the Nationals in your state then why not send in a proposal to MA. This week or early next would be good as the commissions meet 8th/9th May.
I would love to see the champs in S.A. it has been a while

sorry, let me refrase that "alive and want to do it."  minibike mums dont want to work on events there kids arent riding in.  I have no belief MAsa could run a school lunch run.  Best they just get the permit money and stay out of organising anything, let Frank and crew do it as they have the passion to follow it through.

Walter from what i know the club he has set up to for the track and the permits is Pirie, but may also be whyalla, see details below or ring frank yourself he is looking to get people on board.  NOTE also oly sidecars he acknowledges are pre 75, so its right up your alley.

I know Tony cavell and his crew are making the trip.  so what about you Alison ?
