I'm extremely disappointed that I wasn't able to get to Crystal Brook but I'm stoked that the event went off so well. It was a big task for Freaky and the Crystal Brook club to get a good roll up but he managed to get it all together. Congratulations to Freaky, the Crystal Brook club and those hardy competitors who took the punt on travelling so far to compete at what is still our sport's Holy Grail.
Next year will be huge as it's the first year of the split Nats concept. I'm not sure if the venues are finalised yet but wherever they're held I hope competitors from both sides of the era split make a big effort to make sure that both events succeed.
