2011 VMX Nationals

Im NOT talking about Franks event,  Im talking about a club standing up and wanting to hold a national event the 2011 Classic Motocross Australian Championship. SA has not held the event for 10 years or so and I would personally like to see a club over there put there hand up to hold the event next year.

ahh thats ok was just reading like that. 

All ask our club but i think there is only about 4 Vintage guys in it so ill have to beg........   I think the whyalla club has the most, maybe levis could if they did a joint with mud and tars, but there a bit un organised.  Murry williams might be able to talk em into it.

other wise i say your stuff in SA unless it s a joint effort, we just dont have the passionate members for vintage.   but lets see.

Time to ring the guys in Darwin to see when they will put it on or hand it over to the Kiwis as we all know it would be well arranged by them.

I'd love to see the event run in Darwin but our club has enough trouble getting people to run a modern MX event.
Any help to run an event would be non existant. Too many young people up here and not enough with any interest in old bikes.
There are two regular VMX riders in Darwin, somtimes more when we loan a bike or two................

I would think that untill the issue of the "split" and intro of Pre90 is settled it is premature for a club [or clubs] to formulate a proposal for the Nats  ,   UNLESS a club aplies to run one side of the split . I am confidant then that another club would jump in for the other side.Then we'd be on our way.
