i think sliders should be like sidecars and only require 6 ( particularly as the 2 vavle is a very narrow band).... time someone put that tp the commishion to endorse.

I was hoping someone would have a gearing comparison between woodlands speedway and Nepean? Are the straights relatively similar in length or is Woodlands a faster circuit?

Run Nepean gearing and you wont be far off . Like Nepean slow corner entering the straight then on to the straight to a slower left handed over the crest of the hill, then a switch back to the right no gear change there back off a tad . Have fun.

Where Grasy said "back off a tad", better make it a tad more, straight on is not the best option.

First example of Grasy being subtle that I've ever seen.
I'm very much in doubt to make the trip down so sorry Jim but I'm sure there'll be plenty of people there to help you push start your beast, until 3pm on Sundy when they're all worn out.
I've got work on the Satdy but more importantly for Syd DT's future there's a working bee at Nepean on the public holiday Mundy.
Safe racing to all.
