Obviously we are not going to be allowed to run the Aussie Titles in NZ but we are running an international VMX here in Taupo next Easter possibly to be known as the Oceania VMX Titles  ;)

At this stage we are looking at running a second event the weekend before Easter if enough interest to make it a worthwhile trip.

Dave get together with your mates from Vic book a container out of melbourne and back . have it delivered to my yard or straight to the track 500m from here.
Book cheap flights , share a rental mini bus from Auckland (3 hrs drive)

The Aussie Juniors did this last year for the World Junior champs Here in Taupo, they had their containers delivered to the track .

Track has all facilites inc wash bays with gurneys so you can clean them before going home  :)

Check with WA people on how many bikes they get into a container .

NSW crew do the same out of Sydney

Qld out of Brisbane (Brad will need his own container  ;D)

WA out of perth

SA , NT and Tassie sorry im not sure .

We can drum up a number of bikes this end im sure , same with accomodation.

In reality its never cheap to race off shore but we would do all we can this end to ease the cost.

Subject to approval from other organisers no or greatly reduced entry fee for overseas riders , no licence required and free camping at track.

Hopefully a club will take on the Titles over there soon  :) but if Easter is free dont dismiss a trip this way you wont regret it  ;D

Bugger....Easter for sure Bill? Bernie, Jonesy and I were considering coming over for that meeting but we've also made plans for going to the HBBB so I can run my new Benelli 650 and Maico slider as well as Alan debuting his new flat track tackle. Talk about feast or famine!

Why not hold the wedding on the same weekend to kill two birds with one stone? ;D

What's with MA??
I contacted MAQ to ask for a date for next years Sidecar Spectacular which is scheduled to be here in Qld. I asked to pencil in the weekend after Easter so those that want to do HBBC could book their hols and keep on truckin' up to the sunny state, but nope-no can do-you're too early and we won't know 'till November when MA ltes them know what they have going on.!!?? :-\
The best they could offer is if I sent them an email with an 'expression of interest' they would make a note and let me know when the time came.
My question is, if we have already asked for a date then surely that would be the date and other, later bookings would come after us-isn't that how it should work??
Someone please let me know if I'm out of place here.

Didn't mention ASA till later and after they'd checked with their lawyers they said we could have what ever date we wanted :D :D
No it just seems wild to me but as Ailson says we will get last pick.

paranoia, thats all it is.
The head of the Commissions is a VMX Greeves nut, even DW is a VMX fan building (I kid you not) a bike to ride.
Got nothing to do with VMX and CDT being at the end of the line but it may have a bit to do with only one aplication that has been formally submitted for a National VMX anything and a long list of other parts of the sport in general that are also considered at the same time; due process takes place every year the same way. (I know it works this way...........)
As for the MQ request for a date generally they wont look at anything unless its formally presented, suggest if you need or want the date then send in the application and Im sure it will be considered correctly. 100% sure that they are there for your benifit not to make it hard for you but there are a lot of competing interests.

Maybe not ba-02-xr by the looks of it.
We might get a bulk deal with Brad on containers and send all the sidecars to Taupo

Hi,
Mine is 90/270 degrees, I haven't tried 83/277 but I know a few guys who have been pleased with the result.
