At first glance Foss I thought the first shot was taken at Young, I'm sure KP would know where it is.
Because Carlos went over to England in early 74, I have no memorry of Doug riding an Elstar JAP.
Pretty dusty at Nepean, must've been an oil shortage.
Great photo's.

Yeah Slides, It was dusty at Nepean on a couple of occasions when they were trying out some miracle dust supressant called Paxin, it didn't work.

Ok for the captions to KPs fotos I'm relying on some scribbled notes I took when I was talking to Kevin a few weeks ago.

Now, a few more from Kevin's kollection !!

Top photo shows KP leading Maico mounted # 75 John Walmsley at Amaroo
Bottom photo shows Hodaka slider rider # 13 Phil Young leading Kevin, there is some discussion about who #1 is, any ideas , anyone ??

Walter, the 2 early shots are from Musswelbrook?
695 is Pummo Poole, the only bloke I recall using 809 is the legend Herb Jeffo.
I think 593 is Ray Curtis, possibly on my fathers Goldie?
The later shots of Pancho's are from Amaroo Park.

Foss, I've spoken to Billy Mac and he confirmed that he never raced a 125, as I remember it the only person who could use the #1 was the winner of the previous years Unlimited title, in 72 that being Billy.
Tom Gibson from Qld used #1 because he was the Qld #1 but he wore lighter coloured leathers and I think had a small Q on his plate.
Unless the photo was taken at a different meeting and/or during practice, I can't work it out.
As you said originally it does look a lot like Jim Scaysbrook.
Ian, you were there?

Slides,
I just noticed that, in the shot with Pummo the other bloke's number is 800, not 809 and his breastplate looks like an early MCC of Canberra one, could it be some-one like Terry McDonald perhaps ?, I'll ask KP or Buzz. There were two Canberra Clubs in the early days, MCC of Canberra and The Motorcycle Sportsmans Club of Canberra.
