Great photo's Punchy, you're under way now, maybe you can help Mr Bucket out, pensioners united.
I doubt Fraze ever rode under the Wallsend colours, from my memory he was always from the opposite end of Syd town.

No, not me {that time] that's the down side of the infamous "Sorbent Hill' at Moorebank.
The plan was, in those days of 4" travel or often times ridgid rear end, to slowly drop the front wheel over the edge, then accelerate hard down to the bottom left hander. Since the crest was also at a left turn if one miscued this was the usual result!

Yeah I hear you Foss, I missed all the "SKID" marks.
I'm a wee bit younger than you blokes and never had the chance of dropping off Sorbent, I did stand at the top in wonder a few times.
It would be a mere drop by todays standards but a fearsome leap back then.
Looking pretty stylish there Pinchy, are you still wearing the same set of leathers and can I see a ponytail flying out the back?
Hippy.

What a great lot of pix from Don and Wally, they take me back to when I first started in Short Circuit in the mid Sixties and the memories of Moorebank Scrambles with the St George club.

Moving on a few years , here's a few from Kevin Pattons collection.

KP on the Kerr Bultaco and Doug Platts at Salty Creek early 1970

Nepean 1974/5 KP on the 125 twin chasing Fraze and Doug Platts on their 500s
After this event, the powers that be of the day banned Kevin from competing on the 125 twin in over 250cc events

1973 OZ titles at Seymour, Kevin with the 125 Title Trophy and Wayne and Doug Bryant , the builders of the frame and developers of the twin's engine. In the ute with the twin is a, shudder, run and hide, SC500 one of the most wicked motors I have ridden, in a Hagon frame !! /center][/b].

I have some more pix from KP, will post them up later

 Good ones Foss.
No pony tail then Slides, that came later, maybe a 'senior life crisis' or somesuch.
Yes, same leathers made up through Omodies circa '63, first repairs recently done by D.T Doug, only minor at that!
Fair few gravel rashes around the posteria area gained over the years.
Only thing is the old Merrylands Club colours are covered by the body armour now.
Thanks Firko for getting me over the hurdle to posting pics on here. I still have more, plus then I will take on the task of putting some of my colour slides up.
All the pics I have put up so far were taken by my friend Ron Clark with his beaut Lieca M3.
cheers pancho.
