Bloody hell, Slider, do those photos bring back some memories or what !!.
Connie was always very helpful to any rider and would enter you on the day, feed you ,etc, etc Top lady.
Great shot of you on the Ossa and that's Barry Collyer on the white framed slider behind Connie, Phil Robertson with the beard and cut-off denim.
And that would have to be Ginger Davies doing the scrutineering.
Griffith tracks oiled surface was always the best bar none in those days , Dunlop K70 on the back and howling going onto the straight!!
Loved it !!
Oh yeah, Gary's girlfriend was a looker EH !!

Yeah great shots Mark, I'm pretty sure I rode Speedway with Barry Collyer's son Bruce?

OK , Here's a pit shot of West Wyalong, the same meeting as the shots you posted , Slider , Phil Robbertson from the Griffith shot and your 250 there , Mark.
Slides , that's where all the chookies were, at that meeting, huddled together

Here's another shot, Turn one at Wyalong

Gary Harriman down on the outside. Rod Mcnab #113, Len Norris obscured by # 760, # 77 Glen McDonald on the XL250 Hagon.
Apologise for the quality but I only have 3 shots of Wyalong that survived

question for "Slider 29" is Alan Garvey still around?? I rode the Riverina tracks from 1968 to 1977 and do not have one photo to hang on the wall. not even bike in pits.I would have ridden at Wyalong that meeting ( home track ) number 761 . any info appreciated............Grumpy

Is Alan Garvey still around? Hell yeah, he's the Foss on here.
I should add Al, I'm pretty sure brother Carlos has that Hagon Honda frame that Glen Mcd is on.
