What is it with young fellas ::) just been to a birthday party where some young prick wouldn't stop hitting on the daughter >:( Now i asked him nicley 3 times to leave her alone then i told him to leave . Bottom line i end up with a sore hand and a ripped favorite shirt
because some ahole couldn't be told >:(
Im sure when we were younger we tried our luck but backed off when told no, but now no we gotta be a hero ::)
Maybe its just me butfor all my wrongs i beleive i still respect my elders :(
-
I totally with you Bill, these young ones have no respect for women and elders, they think with there little penis, and show off in front of there mates.
-
Good on you.
Surely he realised that you were the girls father ?
-
You in training for the next round Bill?......I spose the daughter's got the shits with you now aswell to make it worse....but your right, they have no respect and they treat there bosses the same. You are probably the first one to say NO to him and then back it up....if he's smart then he will have learned his lessen...I some how dont think so. How's Valle? Now go to bed.
-
Yes that's a bummer Bill. With any luck you have furthered his education.
There does unfortunately seem to be more than your avaerage amount of young slow learners these days.
But their not all bad. I know two young champions, and without pissin in his pocket, look at young Crusty on here, pretty obvious he has been raised right as well.
-
.... i beleive i still respect my elders :(
Trouble is that its been a loooonng time since you've met someone older than you... ;D
Seriously Bill, nowdays, the girl is expected to look after herself - unless he was pushing the point against her wishes, of course - and she's expected to make her own choices.
Your input (pre-biff) was probably completely, genuinely beyond his powers of comprehension.
There does also seem to be a trend among the wee youngsters to revert to some kind of f#$ked up version of 1920s courtship where the bloke does all the woo-ing and has to win the girl over - and the girl plays the part of the timid/dis-interested innocent.
If your young mate has played that game successfully before, then he possibly thought it was part of the game. My youngest sibling has some stories that make me very glad I'm neither 'in the game' or under 25 anymore.

You must be gett'in old Bill.....no Liverpool kiss?....or where you looking after the "Sean Connery" good looks? ;D....I guess you've earned the job as our "bouncer" at CD8 now....fully paid ofcourse....I can just see you tossing Firko out when he plays up. ;)......be warned fellas...he wont take any shit.
-
I recall being young.
Never had a clue.
Not much better now. :o
-
Thanks for the lesson Bill , as you know I have 4 young daughters and i would not take shit after the they had been told to F off.
well done sir!!!
-
Your a wild man Bill ;D .... but I remember when I was a young bloke I would have crawled over broken glass for a root so you can't blame him for trying.
Its my son and nephew parading about in their hoodies up that sends me wild. Oh and when some prick is marching round waving his hero Tats in my face I am probably going to get agro.
-
man i am glad i dont have daughters i remember what i was like when i was 18 ;D also no wedding to pay for
-
Bill some one else will end up sorting the bad ones out there a couple I have got to go visit one 14 year old who stole my wallet and phone and dads gps out of our ute and one 15 year old who tried to steal stuff out our yard.
Our camera has caught 4 people in 1 month 3 of which were teenagers. ;)
-
The guy is just an idiot. I see a lot of younger people who have never been taught respect and as they’ve never been pulled into line for it they think they can just do as they please. A bit of trash talk, a bit of attitude and a lot of people back down to them.
I sort of figured when I first met you that you probably wouldn’t suffer fools gladly.
Secondly, all the towies I’ve known have learned, through necessity, to “look after” themselves.
This guy is not even smart enough to know how stupid he is!
-
Dont get me wrong i hate violence , as Brent says its a occupational hazard in my line of work ::) but i dont like it ( id rather win a fight by 200 yds ;D )
But i do get fed up with young gits who think they can do what they want . Stepdaughter in question is 14 going on 30 ::) and ole mate must have been 19 or 20 . Now with 2 older daughters and 2 younger stepdaughters there have been a few incidents over the years , but it used to be a case of give them a wild stir about the eyes and tell them
"if you dont wanna be counting the fingers you havent got, best fork off "
But now with the younger girls im dealing with a new breed of muppet at the door ::)
I was never up for parent of the year but i tried to teach my kids to respect others and im proud to say the older ones came out good :) The oldest has however shacked up with some wannabee rock star in the UK, iv'e tried to point out to her that if Simon Cowell hasn't discovered the bugger yet then probably best to move on ;)
The younger ones are a work in progress :D they are great kids but their generation is apparantly always right ::) Parents , schools , Police are all powerless to do anything as its all about the kids .
So its no wonder this generation of youth (males ) think they can do what they want and when they meet somone who says no they bar up .
Ideal world i would like all the daughters to marry merchant bankers so they can keep their old man in his old age :D Or Somone like Michael (frosty) whos learning a good trade ( plumbers chargeout rates make Towies rates look like the stalebacon army ;D ) and has the good sense to have a cool hobby like VMX ;D
-
You have to work hard though Bill I spend alot of days crawling on my stomach under houses or going to rental properties and you get to see some interesting not always good stuff, I was just fixing some shower taps in a rental property and the two lady's that were there started singing some very weird song non stop.
Alot of kids I know finished year 12 and are now on the dole because they don't want to work or they want an easy job that pays heaps not many of them around. ;)

Yep but f&*k the teachers they are part of the problem with their bleeding heart attitudes. My young bloke came home and told me the teachers said if he got smacked he should call the cops.
Anyway I said 'f*&k that we are both Aussie citizens, we will just fly to Kingsford Smith where there is none of this bullshit and I will beat the shit out of you' ;D Never laid a hand on my boy in his life but he knows sure as shit I will.
-
Don't blame the teachers - they cop the worst of it and have to tell the little sheets about how they are each precious little petals.
I finished school in 1993. The Yr7 kids in 1993 had a totally different outlook to all of the older kids - they'd dribble shit about "Harassment" (totally context, I should add) and a whole heap of other stuff - clearly something had been changed/added to the Yr6 lessons in 1992, and the age-old rules about earning respect and self-presevation were not visible.
I've often wondered whether there is a social divide caused by this.
-
Billy , I recon you did the right thing even though it cost you a shirt, maybe he will show you some respect next time.
"A son is a son until he takes a wife and a daughter is a daughter for the rest of your life "
-
Go Bill dont let the sore hand put you off, I did the same thing a while ago when some dwik put a pool cue up one of mydaughters friends dresses as she walked by and gave it a bit of a rasp. made my blood boil and smoke come out of my ears, when i said hey mate thats not really cool the little turd shapes up I am 6' 7" and 127 kilo so i gave him a bit of a clip around the ears and broke my hand. Its apitty the turds that raised him didn't teach him some manners !!!!!! I tried but doubt it had any effect but it was fun trying. ;D
-
they should never have stopped caning in schools, the young guys have got too used to their being no results from their actions ... didn't see society get any less violent
-
100% agree there Marc.
-
i sympathise with your story Bill.
my daughter brought a male friend around some months back, just a friend, but when i put my hand out to shake his hand, he didn't even know what i was doing let alone what to do himself.
the result being i got this whimpy little soft hand shake thing that was super lame.
so i told my daughter later that day that the handshake was lame and it just all backfired into me being too hard on the boy ???
figure that???
anyway,
just remember, it was the great Socrates himself that said all those years ago,
"kids today gobble their food and show no respect to their elders"
some things never change i guess... ;)
-
So Bill, where's the U tube clip?
-
Theres probably somthing on Faeces book by now ::) cos todays Mutants record everything .Thats another thing ,after the fact the other young fellas his age go "good on yer , we wanted to do that " WTF then why didn't you instead of leaving it to Grandpa ::)
-
heres a hint drive them with the heel of your palm or use elbow -saves braking your hand 8)

Same deal with me but I rekon he was gay.
Anyhow I think I broke something when i shook hands.
Heard something go snap, wasn,t mine tho.
Came across a kid at my sons wedding who said that he was very worried about Australia and was wondering when the spending would stop and who to vote for as he was getting very cynical.
Go figure that??

Have been teaching for 33 years, 2 states in Oz, Principal of an International School in Fiji and 15 years a Deputy Prin/Prin in Oz schools. Teachers have to follow their employers ethos, so perhaps look towards the boffins and pollies who make decisions but have no idea of the implementation of effect. Schools are also only a reflection of society. Yep we don't give the cane, but have you seen what the courts inflict (or don't) on persistent problems. (Interesting to see what happens to the 14 yr old cop basher in Harvey bay) Think there are a few bigger problems to solve, than justing baggin the chalkies. Sure there are the good, the bad and the ugly (most seem that way to me now), but doesn't that basically sum-up all types of employment, if not society. Now off the soapbox I have a rear wheel to setup in the godden.

The kid in Hervey Bay has done it before (headbutted a dog squad officer last November) and he still is out walking around.

The police arent allowed to give them a belt up that is the problem there is a gang of them around here stealing things they get pulled up to the police station and it is a battle cause they most likely don't get a criminal record just a slap on the wrist.
Having said that a 15 year old that came into our yard a couple of months ago and he is going to court and will get a criminal record. ;)
-
one dosent try to rationalise with a dog one rolls up a newspaper and hits it . after having a restored yz465 stolen by a local brat 18 yrs this one found out who he was and broke his legs .cops where not called by brat as he was told worse to come if I heard that he had talked.little prick crosses the road when he sees me now .
-
I am waiting on a name of the boy that stole my wallet I found out who the 13 year old girl who was with him is so I will find out it is in every area no matter where you live there are some younger and older people who think they deserve others possesions. ???
I had my pushbike stolen and if one of my motorbikes got stolen I would go crazy you should have busted his arms too that would have fixed him up.

Maybe I'm just getting old, :-\ ,its not just the physical push over, its the professionalism in MX as well with wording.. :( >:(
If you trying to sell something drop the slang, you might actually make a few more dollars and a better impression
quote:I've worked closely with Hoges for a few years now," .......Paul Hogan ?? :-\
quote:got a bunch of amazing ...... surely there is a better wording for bunch when interviewed for internet news..
Thats my complaint for the day. :)

when my house was broken into the cops wouldn't fill out a report because the thief left empty handed.empty handed or not he still entered my premises illeaglly and isn't that enough i also had his breaking in tools that he left behind with his prints on them.i think its all a bit to much work for them to take a few prints match them with someone who probably is on there database and grab him.pretty much a waste of time i also had a discription of the car he drove away in.bet if i had of chased and caught him give him a flogging i would be in court for it go figure.cheers gary

I feel for you there Bill. I have 3 boys and although they are still young now I see the teenage years ahead as challenging. My oldest is nearly 7 and has already got a couple of girlfriends at school. As alot of people have mentioned RESPECT seems to be the issue. I think the root of all evil starts with parenting. My wife is a school teacher and even the kids she has are rude and disrespectful, but there is nothing they can do about it.
I went to a Catholic boys school where the strap was used regularly, never did me any harm. I turned out ok I think ???

I'm sure the cops would justify with excuses like 'lack of resources' etc etc etc, but I'm still surprise given the evidence of tools and description of the car. My brother was a detective for many years and he would tell you if they got a burglar for one they generally got him for many. On one famous occasion Tony followed up a simple lead and ended up charging the guy for 100's of berg's. 'Having cause' they entered the guys home unit and found each of the bedrooms filled with stolen goods - a virtual supermarket.
If you are sure of your facts complain to your local State parliamentarian, you'll be doing all of us a favour ;) :) .
Yeah, don't chase and beat the shit outa 'em - or at least make sure they have your kitchen knife in their hands when the cops turn up ;) :D.

Yep, little pricks have nooo respect for authority of any sort these days. Last night i had a report of a young kid getting flogged by another kid because he wouldnt give up his skateboard to the thug. When we found him, he was one of our regulars, just turned 13, all of 4' tall, smashed on half a 700ml bottle of Bundy (which he threw at me trying to escape..), and shaped up to have a crack!!! I started laughing at him, and the other 12 or so young punks tried the old standover tactics (funnily enough that didnt work either). This same kid was harassing an older gent and followed him into a curtain shop recently, and when told to piss off by the store owner he trashed the joint. Of course when we front him to court, it is the same old story, the solicitor gets up and says," your honour my client is not repsonsible for this incident as he has a had a troubled upbringing, blah blah blah" same story every time. THen they say how they "have taken great steps to change their outlook on life.." frog shit!! They say what the magistrate wants to hear, and as soon as they get out of the court room its back to what they were doing before. I sometimes wonder why I bother, but i will keep trying. Oh well thats my little rant. Oldskool, thats real poor service delivery, and i dont blame you for being pissed at that, thats shit service and should never happen.
-

Where I live that,s standard service.
The usual reply to a complaint is that it is a CIVIL matter.
Know a guy with brain damage who was beaten up in athe local woolies carpark.
The witnesses knew the attacker but were told that it was a CIVIL matter when the complaint was put in.
Have been wondering if it is illegal to bribe the police to do the job that we have already paid them for?
I have had stuff stolen from me and was told CIVIL.
The police in this town could get into trouble and I don,t think anyone would help them. :o

i think they do things a bit different down south mx also got broken into when i lived in st marys found my gear the next day in a pawn shop about a kilometer from my house went to the cops and told them where it was and what was in the tool box.within a month a bloke was charged and in court and it was only on what i described in the tool box no other evidence.even though the bloke that got charged wasn't the bloke who broke in.he was just the thiefs dimwit mate that used his id to sell the stuff the coppers knew both the thief and the dimwit but couldn't charge the thief.they later caught him and charged him with other stuff and give him a bit of a ruff up.i know a few coppers from mt druitt from going to a few alarm callouts at mt druitt disabled stadium wich my mum was the key holder.funny thing about it all was i never got my tools back from the coppers.about young smart arses i drop two of my daughters off at high school every morning three young fellers looked straight at me when i got about 5 meters away they stepped off the footpath straight in front of my car all with a smart smirk on there face.it was in the school drop off zone about 8 meters from a pedestrian crossing so i sped up and went straight at them stopped beside them and let them know its the quickest way to get hit by a car doing stuff like that in front of my car i wont stop.they haven't done in front of me again but i have seen them do it to other cars.cheers gary

Probably because they ARE decent, normal kids, feeling deeply uncertain about what to do. It only takes one arsehole to stuff up an event with lots of good, normal people present. Think about adult events, let alone young kids.

I got a giggle from the news in UnZud today.
This little prick George broke into house in Queenstown, held a party and did $170,000 damage, parents have been ordered to pay $50,000 damages which if my math is concerned leaves the rightful but rich owner $120 grand out of pocket.
Meanwhile George gets to serve no more jail time because he is MOVING TO AUSTRALIA ;D ;D ;D
Kehrist as a dinky di Aussie I would rather take a few hundred more boat people, at least they are coming to work.

Love the youtube post of b490, a good old bloke with a golf stick.
My pet hate at the momment is takeaway wrappers dumped in the street, I have Macca's, KFC, Oporto & Subway at the end of the street where my factory is, on most mornings arseholes have eaten their crap out the front and dumped the whole lot on the footpath or in the gutter.
As I'm only one suburb away from LAKEMBANON, I'll give you one guess what ethnic background they are.
No discipline from mum & dad, Teachers, forget it and the coppers have there hands tied.
These moron's grow up cock sure of themselves and thinking they are above everyone else and we are the perfect incubator.
God help us.

"On January 15, George tried to leave the country, but immigration stopped him with a one-way ticket to Australia.
He was arrested for breach of bail and taken into custody."
Sounds like he's gunna be Big Bubba's bed buddy after all ;) ;D.

Oh no no, subsequent to January 15th the judge decided that George had spent enough time with Rangi and Tama, paid his debt to society, was truly remorseful and refunded his ticket to Perth.
He's all yours ::)
