I think you should do it.  :)
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Yep Nathan, it would be a good project to do, but I could see the budget flying out the window on it. The tank wouldnt be to bad to make as there are 2 local guys that would be able to make one. The price would probably be reasonable. The swingarm I think would be a harder item to make but if I use a YZ250J airbox I think I could get around the problem of the low mounted rear shock. Of course the Fox Forx are available but at a big dollar value. The triple can be bought from XtremeYZ. Allot of modification would need to be done to make things fit but I think it would be a very cool bike. Anyway I will have to think more on it and its all the little things that add up to make it something special.

So close, but the gearbox bearing hasnt arrived so the Noguchi isnt getting run in this weekend. I have painted the exhaust pipe and I think I have everything ready for the motor to just go in. But with the 3rd round of the series this weekend I will be off riding.
As you can see the washing is out so sorry about that but here are a few photos.

Hilly,  :o I have no desire to have the record number of posts.

Hoony, thanks for the comment about the sticker. I just thought it would be a laugh to have a period looking sticker.

Ian, I think we will need to have a beer or 2 with this heat.

Andrew the YZ250H isnt running as I smashed the barrel around the base through the exhaust port and across the other side. It has always been in need of a complete restore and I hope to get to it next. I have a DG pipe for it and yellow plastics but I do have to spend some money on it so I wont be starting the resto for awhile until the funds build up again. The noguchi has cleaned me out, I'm only a poor painter on wages :-[
But here are a couple of pictures.

The pipe hanging off the bars is for the 125

I wish Ian. I just got the bearing for the gearbox today, so the motor will start going together tomorrow. I have just finished making a handlebar cross brace pad for the bike through.

Me and Danny have just finished putting the motor together, just have to do the timing and sort out a good reed block. The barrel came off a few times, as we had to make a couple of different base gaskets to get the right height, but I think we have it pretty good now. It looks like this weekend will be the big test.

Looking good DJ, I especially like your "DJ Racing" decal.   ;)

My decal will probably have to "Caution Wide Load"  ;D
