Raced British Schoolboys and Adults 1977 to 1982
Club MX , Enduros & hare scrambles 1983 to 1988 in NZ
1990 to 1993 Club MX back in UK

( Owned an 81 490 Maico and a 79 250 Maico Both very original and running ,never raced them and sold them on for bugger all when i returned to NZ :o Doh Doh )

1994 to 2007 raced modern & Veterans MX back in NZ , got disillusioned with the modern 4 stroke bikes and the fact that the sport of MX has become a lifestyle for Hairdressers  ::)

Been riding Vintage about 10 yrs and loving it  :)

raced flat track a few times on minibikes in the late 70's and then again a few times in the mid 80's on an open but never competed in/on an MX track until the vintage titles of 2007.

Never raced before '03.  Had a thousand hectares of bush to ride in only ten metres from my house so just got lost in there for ten years.

Started about 1979/1980 on a RM80, been racing (for the fun of it) ever since. Restored a couple of RM-N'S in 1994 when pre80 first got going. Still love riding every chance i get (when work doesnt get in the road). Lost count of how many bikes (and brain cells) along the way. Current bikes-09 CRF450R, RM250C2,RM250X(81),RM80B.

yep, very badly from '86 - '90 in between speedway and road race meetings on anything with a pair of handle bars.

Allegedly still hold the record for the most crashes in one lap of Appin - 12 1/2
