Good to see you are back on here!
I had a nasty pipe experience the first time, shot the bung out so hard it dented the shed side....a big bang that's for sure! I use a push  bike floor pump though to pump them up, a leave it on giving a quick shot if the pressure drops during the job.
bad luck.. but could have been worse I guess. get well soon - and see you at the nats.

Yes, I'm lucky it didn't hit me in the head. It was on the bench not to far away from my face.....

lucky man.

Air under pressure is dangerous. At a previous job i tested industrial hoses and its done with water pressure. Air releases violently and will send the fitting into the next block.(cannon. rifle, bazooka. truck tyre). Water releases its energy in a more sedate fashion. The end pops off and the water gushes out but with low inertia as the water absorbs the energy.

Good to hear the prognosis for your hand is all good.

So many possible jokes, so little time.

Hope you repair fast BigK. I did the same thing earlier on in life and dented the shed as well , always use a hose clamp with some wire around the bung like the champagne cork holder style to keep the bung in and contained .

However, as a result of his previous poor behaviour, he has now been assigned new nursing staff for this visit & pics have just come in from the hospital. Big K has been quoted as saying "I promise I'll be good this time"  :o :o :o

That middle photo looks suspiciously like a resident of S.A who completely disregards his Norse heritage by riding a Yamaha. It's all becoming painfully clear now.....

My Nipponese PIL is a Pre78 bike Mick. Though I might run it in Evo. I'm planning on having my CR250RE built by then as well. Are all the jumps going to remain the same at Ravo?
Lucky for the other guy, I know you would walk away rather than get arrested  ;)
