Hopetoun GP vinduro, June 1

The next VERi event will be the Hopetoun GP on June 1 at Hopetoun in the Wimmera region of Victoria.

It will be a loose recreation of the original Sunraysia/Hattah BP Desert Rallies of the early 1970s and the Hopetown GP in the USA.

It is only open to licensed riders with a registered bike, be it full rego, classic permit or Unlicensed Vehicle Permit (UVP). Recreational registration isn't acceptable.

Speaking of UVPs, today (May 9) is the last day to get your UVP form to Club Secretary Peter Drakeford.

This'll be the one for you blokes with the big engines! No more b/s about who's beast is the beastiest or how you have broken land speed records while only being able to get into third gear (because all the events you've been to have pissy single trails) blah blah. How much fun will it be to get off the pilot jet! Or are you just a little bit .......SCARED?  :o

Come along and enjoy the fun! Imagine riding at a place that the towns people actually WANT you to be there!

Have a look at On Any Sunday and look at the section of the movie where they show you the Elsinore event.

Rope start in the main street , bush sections and fast desert sections.

Come join us ,Experience your own Elsinore type event with us at Veri.

Come join our club , your club ,with upwards of 130 members and growing monthly

Get your entry forms  in, this is an event that should not be missed.

We at VERi strive to bring our riders events that you wont find anywhere else in Australia.

Getting dirty the old fashioned way , thats our motto and thats our way

In the far right of this image you can see the five star accommodation that our treasurer has organised for his fellow committee members, with a significant finders fee for himself included in the exorbitant rate...

You'll have to use your own Italian big bore - my Canadian equivalent is a bit sad at present. Maybe HVA will give you a dink on his new toy - it'll have enough mumbo to carry the both of you!
