I have a pre 75 yamaha sidecar here but its not finished yet , happy for you to haul it up there and fisinsh it and race it, and ill get it back whenever.

Grab a container and your SA brothers/sisters to bring it up.
We need more states entered.  :P
Best is in the West !!

Will cost us from the West about $300-$400 per bike to transport them in a container, all boxed up.  Lot cheaper from SA

You're not thje slack one Shelpi, you did your bit getting to Conondale. It's the others down there that need some work.
Maybe you should put it to them to set up a fighting fund to get the top teams together once a year---here or there. That's what we aim to do here. It's no good thinking you guys are faster or slower if we don't get to race each other a few times.

Our guys over here in the west are as to come over this time and mix it with the Eastern staters   They are Cookie, Vanderlinden and Johnson.  Plus Vaughan is trying to help out with a bike for Sarah Dillion to show her skills.  The problem the boys have before entering is what will the sidecar figures belike, they informed me there were only six  They are just wondering is there are any indication of takers from over east this time

Look in all honesty I would love to go up North for the Nationals.
Ask myself do the competitors really want a unhealthy, unfit, useless type on an old. rough, ugly Honda 754  HBS/Wasp  754 plodding around the racing circuit. Blocking their chance at a title?

HBS  Home built special  ;)
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Of course they/we do .... the more the merrier.  Who gives a shit what you or your bike/trike looks like ... as long as you're having a red hot go (trademark Peter Geoffrey Brock)   :)

We actually don't give a tinkers toss if you have a go (red hot or otherwise) we reckon it's just good to get out in a paddock and have a bash.
Last years event drew all sorts out on the woodwork and probably the one golden unit was a not too young Ron Chadwick who gave away his pre75 Wasp Yamaha to our states best team so they could have a crack (which they did with top results) but he entered a BSA outfit that had previously done the 24hr trial in SA, in the pre68 class. He did that knowing that he would most likely be the only entrant and that there would be on award. He, and passenger Marshall Shaw still went out and entertained themselves, if nobody else and went home empty handed but with a good heart. Not too many will do that and they deserve the credit...more than they got IMO.
It's not really about the winning Tim, you just need to show up mate....we'll even share our beer....on a 1st back to the pits system ;D ;D ;D

hey tim 754 you have not seen us race up here we only go out to have a laugh and talk it up when we get back to the pits if we are not smiling after a race we should give it away come up (you might not leave with a trophy but you will leave with a smile and some new mates)

Ron, and his mate on the old BSA were a star turn and won the "Spirit of Vintage" award
