Thanks John. I was wondering how Simon was getting on.  I was watching him and the other 2 he was dicing with at the time he crashed and saw it all .. looked bloody nasty from where I was standing.  Glad he got up though.  If you are speaking with  him again, pass on my best wishes please

Not too sure about "late entries" but I was under the impression that entries were 'open' until mid-night on the following sunday. The reason for the other cut-off date was for the program printing and a loose leaf with the sidecars on could have been added later in any case.
