When I raced a T250 Suzuki in P4 that was fitted with a  Small coil rewinds setup based on a KX80 EARLY model  worked very well as it started at low turn over speed easy starting

MOST use Boyer/Brandsen but I have had little luck with them and they have cost a couple of big races.
There is lots more available these days, even stuff fron Dick Smith that will do the job .

sound good, so the whole kx system including fly wheel  and what ratio on the premix?

Bert at Small coil rewinds used the Early KX80 stator plate and flywheel his own CDI box then a LC250/350 Yamaha twin lead coil ring Bert to get a Quote
Keep in mind still have to make a back plate to fit the Suzuki motor plus change the taper on the flywheel bit of stuffing around but it did work very well

Lots to choose from comes down to Price and with a Sidecar might need a heavy  Flywheel weight to drive the little 250/315 working hard

Pump locked on halfway plus 32 to one ratio premix and try to stay under 9000 rpm working that hard plus the weight Suzuki crank b/end will shit itself   ::)

yes, yes you will  ;)  the road race boys go to great lengths to make them into 4 bearing cranks to pull reliable 12000 rpm :o plus lots of crank rebuilds in between.
so max 7500 rpm for me and keep it at 40 hp if we can achieve reliability we are in with a chance  ::)
