I have an engine with 360 piston which we've fitted into a standard cylinder, done the head & crank mods as well. The bike will have DG swing arm, GMC 360 pipe & RC style alloy tank. What should I call it? I also have an engine with a turbo crank, what can we call that one?

A kitted bike would have the correct mugen pipe..

And gear set and clutch springs. The big problem is the standard gears. They break with the kitted bike, same as the kickstart idle gear. All are beefed up with the full kit.

Still a nice bike from what ever angle with what ever name.

.............

The front and back end is rather nice.  If anyone wants a set of replica yokes for 44 or 43mm forks, I know where there are some and now with the stem so it's a bolt on affair.  Press the stem into the lower yoke and use your Honda bearing adjuster and top nut.  So if you want a later beefier 43mm front end with the better brake in your CR250 and while you are there have some exotic yokes to pull it all together on your pride and joy then PM me!  New shoxs can also be build from a stash of NOS parts that have been found, so fill your boots!

Wasnt someone in Nz making the shoxs and forks?  Thought I read that somewhere.  Does this bike have original or the new ones that were under construction in NZ?  Any ideas how that project is going?  It was mentioned on here a while ago.  Quite a bit of smoke and mirrors which I didnt understand...

Exactly Brad, as I said earlier a lot of the 360's getting around only have a mugen top end fitted.. In my opinion they're not near as collectible as the real deal with the full kit fitted.

I seem to recall there were only around 10? full mugen bikes made?

But lots of people built /building kit bikes, of which this one looks to be a pretty good example.

Would be hard to see it fetching this kind of money in todays climate.

yeah don't argue with that JO - but it may not be a fully kitted bike but is closer than many got!  I had also heard with the 360 kit the gearbox was an issue.

I had a nice genuine Moto-x Fox 360 Mugen a while back Ross and didn't have any gearbox issues with it.. Another bike I probably should've kept!

But if it was a full Mugen at 11.5 K AUS we would all be fighting over buying it! the other thing with Mugen you would need the history of the bike (a named rider of the day who had ridden it) that usually gets the price up. Plus what is the condition of the cylinder / piston would need to be good for that type of cash one would think?
