WHILE I'VE GOT YA'S WHAT THE HELL IS A DUNLOP K190, I HAVE A SHITLOAD OF DUNLOP K180'S HANGING UP IN THE SHED BUT I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THE K190
Sorry, it was a typo, I hit the nine key instead of the eight but I think everyone knew what I meant
. Despite what some folks seem to think, I too want to see this meeting succeed but I also want to see the meeting run under the same set of GCRs we've been using since 1998. While I acknowledge that the club honestly believes it's creating a level playing field with its tyre restrictions, I truly believe that overriding the GCR's with a 'local rule' is just plain not right. I've been called a whinger by some on here because I've voiced my opinion on a public forum, firmly believing in free speech and the right to discuss that opinion. Unfortunately some folks who don't even know me have called me a shit stirrer who's trying to spoil the event and my bikes as "pool room bikes". That's why all of the others who think that the trials tyre rule is wrong are deafening in their silence.....they don't want to cop the same flack. Trust me when I say that many (not all) of the potential competitors I've spoken to aren't happy with the tyre rule. I wouldn't have put myself in the firing line if I was speaking just for myself, I'm not that stupid.
Whatever the outcome, I'll be there with my so called pool room bikes which will be set up with whatever tyres I'm permitted to use. My whole argument has been based on my belief that the Supp regs should follow the MoMs GCR's, It's in no way critical of any individuals or the Temora club and I've not felt the need to resort to petty name calling or belittling others contributions to our sport. My whole argument is based purely on my belief that the GCR'S that have served us for 25 years are not being adhered to.
