With genuine regret, it looks like I won't be able to attend the 2013 Classic Dirt Track Champs . I'm especially disappointed because I was really looking forward to debuting my little 360 Yam flat tracker with Tony Clarke on board and having a skid myself in pre 70 on my Cheney. Unfortunately issues to do with respite care for my 93 year old mother have forced me to choose between Classic Dirt 10 or Temora, with CD10 winning out. As principal carer for my mum I have to work my weekends away in with here going into temporary care as we can't leave her home alone any more after she had a fall while I was at the last Buladelah meeting. It's a bit of an ask to put her in respite for the CRC, CD10, Temora and then a month later the Classic MX Nats in Queensland......something had to be sacrificed. It's a bummer but that'd the hand I've been dealt.

Sorry to hear you wont be coming to Temora Mark.........as Mia and I are carers for my 94 year old Mum, I know your problem...Hope to see you at Rd 3 of SDTS on 14 and 15 September.......Mia and I are riding up to Harrington pub next Friday, with some fellow Triumph riders, to see Blue Eyes Cry.......Cheers, Alvin

Yeah I thought all would be OK but when the old girl fell over and laid on the floor for who knows how many hours while we were at the Buladelah HEAVEN meeting I realised that she can't be left on her own any more. I was given a choice of the CD10 weekend or Temora weekend but not both by the respite venue so because of my emotional commitment to CD10, and having been to every one, it got the nod. In a perfect world I'd be going to both but the two events are too close together. I know however that my non attendance will have diddley squat effect on Temora going off big time so I wish the club all the best.
