Hi Guys,
She lives the DT1 We have been working on for the Nats for a few weeks finally fired it up last night,
changed the stator and tow started it. Once we cleared all the shit out of the pipe carby etc it now starts off the kick starter. Now we need to play with the jetting we think it is running a bit lean and is pinging abit down low.
I have some picts but I have never put picts on before so I am unsure how to do it.

On a different bike my 73 Elsinore 250 that I have entered in the age group racing and a sub for the pre75 250 class didnt make one full lap of practice on Sundays grasstrack and stopped and ceased solid. Last nights investigations found that the fly wheel nut had come off and the fly wheel had sheered the key off but the worst part was that it had also taken a large chunk of the crank off as well. Never seen anything like that before any way my good mate and bike mechanic is going to rebuild it yet again as soon as I can get the spare crank to him.  We are now starting to run out of time need to test and load them up on Sunday leaving on the boat Tuesday for the Small Island up north

Cheers
Fatboy

Mark the badges are first rate , The price inc post was very good arrived 6 days after order . Iain
My tank badges finally arrived yesterday Iain and while they're nothing like the OEM quality, they're good for a racer. I'm happy now ;D.

Im going to have a crack at getting one ready for Crystal brook, wont have time to test so just have to wing it,  just need to score a tank and some guards and should be good to run.  Only full width front end i can find has rooted drum brake sticking, but meh so long as i can get it out there be fun..  :D

Nothing like the last minute !!  ::)

YEp the square one didnt work too well when i pulled it out, so i had to drill the frame to fit this one in.  the rear spocket is a bit out too now as is the lower shock mounts are on an angle.  but so long as it last 3 races im all good :O)

Angle a bit out on the top shock mounts.

Vandy,  any idea how much has the rear rail came in ? so i can compensate or figure out a straighten up plan.

if your talking about the width at the top shock mounts, then it'd be about 15~20mm narrower than stock in order to fit the MX type seat.
if thats NOT what your asking, then my mind reading skills have somewhat diminished and you'll need to spell it out in plain eengrish ;D

No probs Nev....I've got access to an old Webco kit  so I'll make an effort to borrow and copy it. It might take a while but I'll announce it on here when they're up and running.

I found these on my photobucket a/c.
