Leaving Jean and Daves, bloody good people (like everyone we seem to meet), off to see DC.

Seen DC, as one American told us, enough museums to make you sick! Was good (and free!) but you quickly OD.
Made trip into NYC, drove right in, close enough to see the Statue of Liberty. Very Cool, pity it is on an island, would have got closer.

Our bike prepped for Ashland, with our style tires, hope they get through tech (It is a big event, all the pro's will be there). Have entered Open Vintage, it will be a good test before Springfeild.

Be great to catch up with young Edwards and family, Colleen and I ran into them 2 yrs ago at DuQuion. And to meet up with Rubberman, he is a bit of a legend over here.

Nice looking bike, love the big 'A'. What sort of tyres are you running? Do any of the Yanks run those?

I notice the bike's set up for TT with a front brake. It'll be interesting to see how the trials tyres go on their tracks, it might be the secret weapon on the TT 8). Good luck to Pete and the other Aussies.
