When you click the link you are basically on Keith st I don't know why we don't have our street written on there, but its at the end of cornish, when you first get the map, scroll up a bit and you will see the house on the left. Or should I say roof of house and shed, plus one floating Alfa :D ;D

Keep Smiling :)

Jackie, did you get all of your photo archives out before the water came? Good luck with the rebuilding. We're thinking of you and everyone else up there.

The street name was there before xmas, so must have washed off or more likely covered in mud. :D
Do you need any beds or furniture to get you going again as we have some unused in the shed that aren't being used.
I reckon Harvey Norman and co. might have paid the dam blokes to let a bit extra go just to kick their year off to a good start though A Mart at Oxley went under and so do Bunnings at Oxley and Rocklea and maybe even Bundamba.
Any way if you need something pm or call me at work, I can deliver.

Just re reading through this thread and watching currant affair- the blame game has begun.  :-\

Very interesting Doc,wether its a conspiracy or not!!.Its not taken into account the environment or geographical areas that its going to land on.  :o ,as is the case in Queenland you had already had seasonaly high rain fall, the ground was already sodden.

Someone must be to blame because we all know that a 74 flood could never happen again.
The experts told us so.

:D Alison, my conspiracy theory maybe correct if the weather manipulation is brought to us by the same people who fire scud missiles that completely miss the target..namely an entire continent!! :o
They were probably aiming at someone else ;D

A land of sweeping plains --yer right  :o  :-X

"I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror –
The wide brown land for me!"

To give Ms Mckellar her full due  ;) :).

ABC newsreader brings some sanity back into the flood discussion.
She said " a once in a 100 year flood happens TWICE "
Ha Ha Ha brilliant.
The only newsreader with a brain and she can count too. :)

Yeah poor bugger :( but at least it survived :). if you look to the left of that house you will see his shed, inside was a huge mother ...... of a catermaran :o, it wasn't tied down, the cat floated up with the water lifted the shed and moved it, fortunately not to much, if you zoom in you can see the marks on top of the shed from the cat ???

Keep Smiling :)

There's a bbq at Jackies after the clean-up, lots of fresh steak!
Just kidding, it's not the only one to be found on a house so far as there was another in the local paper.
