This is looking really bad what im seeing on the news. Makes the once in 100 years flooding we had in SA a few weeks ago look like a trickle.

unless it absolutely pisses down again over night with the big tide backing it up then all's okay here Darcy thanks. The Gatton water and Bne river levels don't affect us in this part of town ;) unless it floods with biblical proportions that is..never say never but fingers crossed. Isn't there a Bike museum out Gatton way? Wonder if that was inundated yesterday also :(

almost surreal eh Pokey, I don't subscribe much time to many conspiracy theories but they certainly make you think, things we never thought possible are now taken for granted..at about 3:50 the vid below get's a bit interesting :-\

last news snippet I heard talks about SA and most of eastern Australia being flooded inside the next 2 weeks with the weather predictions - you can only hope that it is really a case of news being presented worse that it actually is (sensationlism) - and I can only hope for those affected - sorry guys - haven't seen anything like this before.

Hoony,

It has not Been on the news as a problem area,it appears to be only the inner city suburbs of Bris that are a possible worry

Hey Darcy
Stuck in Raymond Terrace trying to get home from Melb. Not looking good for a day or so as Pacific Hwy closed Grafton to Ballina and inland rout worse. Daughter stuck at Brisbane Hospital doing a "few" double shifts as  nurses having trouble gettin in. (She's spewin as she was in!). Inntersting that the Docs were the first all out before lunch today. Son has loaded bling onto ute for the just in case but I think we will be right. How you getting on in Rockvegas? I thought I left all this floodin stuff behind me in 08 in Mackay.

Tim
Caught up with Peter Tolley in melb and I'm in love with the 59 triumph Speedway sidecar. Even colored matched to the oldies and it flies!!!

Were fine here in Rocky just waiting for the water to subside  :) I was only a kid back in 74 living at Salisbury right next to a storm water drain. But can still remember dad's new Valiant going under water and mum crying a lot about the house. :(. My thoughts are with you all down there. Darcy.
Anyone heard from Mike Crawley??? I've lost his phone number ::)
