L- R in the Showground shot, I think.
Allan Wilkinson, ? , Booey ( can't miss him ), John Davis & a very young future world champ Michael Lee.
Has Jim been to see Wayne Newton yet?

That sure looks like him Alison.
A lot of the English riders also rode Scrambles & Trials etc but they could make a living from Speedway.
Trevor Harding? from Quick Snacks fame.

Alison, there was a ship load of makes being used, they ranged from a complete bike from Jawa to a bittsa of a number of manufacturers, Inc - Engines & Frames.
There are a couple of sad stories in some of those last photos Freaky.
Englands whiz kid Kenny Carter in the Halifax team shots, commited suicide as did our own Billy Sanders.
Neither could cope with the national & personal pressure they put on themselves to win a World title, both were leading riders roughly the same time.
In Billy's case, his wife running off with one of his best mates didn't help, sadly his son also made the same
choice.

Third from left on post 99 I think is the late, great Billy Sanders
