Most of the lads on here would probably not know the rest of the Pommy team with Julian, the venue is Nepean , I think, but may not be as the trees look a little wrong , Langy would know.

OK, Just spoke to Langy and it's Salty Creek early to mid '70s he reckons Julian will know the exact year so I'll send him an email and ask.

I think it's the '73 - '74 Test Tour

I saw them at Griffith and at Nepean where the Pom Team Manager, Arne, asked me to ride as reserve as I was born in the UK, the powers that be of the day wouldn't let me ride, using all sorts of lame excuses and I've held it against them ever since.

Just had a phone call and two of the Aussie riders pictured say its the 1974 English Test tour, so, Shaun we know where, when, and why but not all of the who.

74 was Carlos's first year in England so we didn't go to any race meetings at all, except Speedway but I'm pretty sure we spanked em.
It's not the original DT test series though, that was in 73 and the big Wigg was the only one out of those riders who was in the first team along with Don Godden, Roland Duke & Chris Baybutt.

i am sure i have seen chris pusie the guy with the dots  at nepean and wiggy doing monos down the finish straight.he wouldnt get away with it today as they dont like it allways tell us no wheelies.not that i do them

Before the days of THE SLIDERS, I saw English rider, Dave Mitchell, outride everyone at Boxer's Creek, Goulburn. I can't remember the year,can anyone help here ?....maybe around 1965 ? The next Dominant English rider I saw, was Julian Wigg, in the 70's. He was a Champion !! Does anyone have any Action shots of either of these Stars ?

 I remember seeing Chris Pusey riding at Nepean I think '73.
 He was the most fantastic full lock slider I've ever seen going around the speedway bend there!

Here's a shot......sorry for the quality !......Ole Olsen on my mate, Ricky Day's speedway bike at Amaroo Park around '72. He's chasing Terry Poole.....He was magic at the end of the back straight.....just threw it sideways and powered down the finish straight.....he didn't handle the right hander well, though !!
