Why are the greys so expensive Freaky? I have grey cables on my resto DT1 and they cost the same as black, green or chartreuse. I've got a few left over so I'll use 'em on the Cheney.
How hard to get are YZ125A tanks? How much is a straight tank with no damage but needing paint worth?
Dont ask me why, guessing the resto guys want the genuine grey single cable jobs, if i watch a black vs a grey on ebay thats the prices and the differance i see them go for.
YZ has a differant barrel and internal CR, tank and as the man says other frilly bits.
The 2 i have here both have mx 125 Barrells on them, dont ask me why but i was told by a few in the go that they bike only ran fast withg the more torquey and usable MX barrell and the YZ only had one speed it was on or off. IM assuming the frames are differant where the tanks sit up on the 125 but it might just mean a gap or less than a gap they are very round is the YZ
As the YZa250 has 4 tank donuts to set up and the MX dont so there might be somthing to suss out there rosco ans far as the tunnel and movment etc and crearing the coil etc if they are under the tank.
Here you can see the Physical differance between an YZA anfd the YZB. Near Identical in the top shell, but 'B" has only the 1 donut at the fron and not the one in the middle but a wider shock nut space area.

YZB alloy tank is for sale, restored and repainted in A trim - $375 if your interested
