Just a question. Why is it that if you're looking for a 10mm ring spanner all you can find is 11mm ones and if you are looking for an 11mm then heaps of 10mm ones. They all live in the same drawer in my toolbox.

Yep all that pretty well sums it up.
I personally thought wormholes but I'm a SF fan.

I am assuming you are talking about those pit ones Chippy?
Bought a few. Mostly OK and good value for money.
Although bought a 79 PE175 one once and had to get a bit of extra skirt sown on. Everyone since then OK but.
Worth a punt I reckon.

Same problem with a PE 250 one otherwise ok.

yeas I received one in the post for a plate I own, they reckoned in the Sydney harbor tunnel.
Pissed off, I thought I don't have time for their mistake, better off just pay the a holes the few bucks.

Then I thought, if I do that? it amounts to an admission the vehicle was in Sydney, when indeed it was never there.
I wondered if someone had made up a false plate with my characters? If so? and I don't protest this, what's next?

Speeding fines or such using up my precious points?
So yes, got to go jump through the hoop, get in touch with them. Instructed to send a declaration in email >:( >:( >:(
Did it and politely asked for a re-read at the same time.

Received a letter not long after saying the original read was in error and this is the last I will hear of the matter.

Pain in the arse all of these time consuming procedures these days, but I think unfortunately we have no other choice. Modern world.

Send them an invoice for your time addressing their false claim.
Then send them overdue account fees when they don't pay it.
Just for a laugh.

There is an avenue through the local courts to send them a notice when they don't pay , the bailiff then goes around and collects the money.
I once did it to a retired Detective.
He paid.

Talking about number plate recognition.
My stepson is a fly in fly out worker and leaves his car at the Toowoomba Airport for 2 weeks at a time .
Comes home in the dark last week , hops in his car and drives downtown Toowoomba.
Copper pulls him over and fines him $771 for having no number plates.
Someone had pinched them and he didn't notice.
No compassion , no consideration , no excuses just $771 thanks.
The thief had more compassion , he put the screws back when he had finished.

yeah id sooner be on a tt500 then a gutless wet sponge postie bike myself knowing the old thumper would make it out to the other side and back no worries ;).theyll have fun crossing the todd river at finke as its super fine sand and sucks serious horse power out of any bike >:( ;D

There's a good chance it's full of water at the moment as well.
