Interesting result list , Alvin. It seems that the NSW S/C Champs were run over a number of rounds BITD and the legends that were riding in that round !!.
Another thing that struck me is that Douggy Penrose is listed as riding a CSD in the Ultra Lightweight and Lightweight, now that's gotta be Clement Sorrel Daniels bikes, the tuning whizz from down the 'Gong way, have you got any clues on that , Pete ??. 'cos I thought Clem was a road race tuner.
Foss
Foss talking about Clem Daniels,My good friends Bryce and Glen Davies restored one of Clem's 125 Batam's (CSD 3 ) here in Griffith into road race trim.It was purchased many years ago by Glen from one of the Ohem Brothers from Junee,Here is some of the story on that bike.
Dunno much about cars , Lennie, but is that Charlie's Charger in the background ?? Rumour says he still has it, bloody hell they look young in that shot, but then, I guess we all did back then !! thanks for posting the piccys.

Close but not quite the whole Cigar Mark ( Slider29 ).Hey Sreve,
It was 1970, Terry Poole collected the old toilet seat from the nearby tip and placed it over Billy's neck as the winners " Laurel's ".
Bill retained the seat the next year at Tivoli in QLD then got to return the privilidge to Terry at Amaroo in 72.
I know Kieth Davies won in 73 at Seymour but off the top of my head I have no idea of it's history from there on.
Billy's grandson won the same title in Bris just a few weeks ago at the age of 16, as a result Bill is on the search for the whereabouts of the famous seat.
It's probably in landfill somewhere but it'd be interesting to trace how far it was actually passed on down the line.
Spread the word.
I think Tony Lacey may have the seat. I know he has one but I'm not sure if it's a replica or the real thing. I'll give him a call and find out.
Should know but i can't remember
Len Norris goin' for it!
A couple of shots from the Weslake era , Kempsey 1977 or 1978 not sure
Hi Jap 454, I haven't been on for a while but just having a look, that meeting at Kempsey was the second round of the Golden Wheels series ,20 May 1979, Steve Regeling is the rider A9,also spotted the Zacher sidecar duo in the background,Ron snr and Ron Jnr in the green leathers.Thats a great shot of Pete Lee on his Green Godden Jap.( That is the same bike I own now and have ridden at the classic meetings a few years ago),Pete had a 250 yamaha in it for some time and I rebuilt it with my motor and gearbox.Great pics .Keep em coming.
