A more unattractive lot I've never seen, even the shot Rusty got of me with my pants down on the other thread looks better.
I have been thinking about Classic Dirt all week and I reckon next year I'm not riding because you miss out on so much when you're on the track. What a top bunch of blokes the Kiwis were. Even though they struggled with the language and local customs over here they were great value, even Mr Michael Jolley esq was having a great time. There was something about TM Bills melon that made me feel like I'd known him for years.
I vaguely remember having a good old chat with my old sparring partner Nathan on Saturday night, a more passionate VMXer you'll never meet.
The band was great, the company was great, the beer was great, the atmosphere was great.
How to make it better? Stop the rain, otherwise brilliant

Some awesome stories coming through here,  I was only there for a day [SAT],  so catching up with the long stayers through this forum is very convenient.  Thanks guys for your online efforts.  .  Whats the early vote on next years venue?

Following the theft of the Husky it was decided security may be an issue at that Motel.
We parked the convoy so as to make it as difficult as possible to get the bikes out - check Brad's steel cable and kick-arse lock!
Thanks to Brad, TM Bill, DJ and Karen for the laughs and hospitality on our last night; I'd have fallen asleep at the wheel for sure if I'd attempted the drive to Brissie straight after we left the event.

I feel the same way about the riding Magoo. I rode too much and missed out i feel and next year i wont spend anywhere as much time on the track. I think that cd6 should be there again next year as its central and the facilities are good. The owners are eager to please and with another 12 months under their belt the complex would be even better.

I'm trying to post a handful of CD5 photos but they're a real bugger to reduce in size.
I'm using the 'paint' program; but to post five or six photos in one go requires reducing each photo to a size too small to show any detail when opened.
Hey DJ (or anyone else), how do you manage the large multiple photos without going over the kb limit?

Until I figure it out here's another...
Hey Vandy, I can send the full size photo if you want a clearer copy - you could sign it for Gally.

And the closest thing you'll hear to a Squadron of Messerschmitts doing a low pass .......

Hi Wombat.  Maybe consider storing your photos on Microsoft's free server space,  then just point the posts to that picture.  http://skydrive.live.com/welcome.aspx?provision=1
Most of us OZVMX regulars host our pics on a free service.  You may even have website space as part of your ISP agreement that you are unaaware of,  this would be an ideal point to host the bike pics,  the when you post,  just point back to that photo link.  Microsoft has 5GB of space through Sky Drive,  help yourselves.

Thanks for the tip b/jane; but I'll have to wait for my boy to return from camping to decipher your instruction ;).
I appreciate the info but I'm a bit of a computer gumby - I know enough to do my daily job... and tap away on the forum.

Last photo for a while.

My photobucket album  http://s45.photobucket.com/albums/f65/djracingyz/  has a few CD5 pictures.

Wombat resize your pictures to no bigger than 800x800 and then add them to your photobucket album. Then generate them to go on a message board. If you have problems pm your ph and I will talk you through it.
If at first you dont succeed, give up and drink beer

The spotlight was deservedly on Joel but what a pair of champions are these two! Not only still supporting the sport in so many different ways but can still motor there way around a MX track showing a  clean pair of heels to all and sundry ;).

Being a Yammy man  ::) I've always taken an interest in Gally but what a champ. After this pixie he personalised it by giving me the thumbs up by way of thanks 8). ...and it was me who should have been thanking him ::).

A true champ, ambassador for Yamaha and The Sport and an unadulterated media whore ;D. Thanks champ.
