What is a 125B...???..never heard of one...certainly an "A" model and then a C model but ...to my recollection there was no "B"...

I always thought it was...silver tank=YZ125, Yellow tank=YZ125a. That's how I believe it went with the 250, so I'd assume the 125 was the same.. I'm backing Yammiefan on this.

Whatever the correct answer is, I'm sure Nathan will come on and set us straight.

Nathan doesn't know poo poo! :D
silver then yellow for the big MX's yes Firko but i've never seen or heard of a silver MX125. but i'd sure love to see one as it'd be a cool colour scheme. have thought about doing such a thing to my little beast but i'm shying away from silver as the 125 class is already that colour.
but this is a "YZ125b" tank and it's the goods as far as i'm concerned.

Its a B that I got in the states.
They are rare over here .Im not sure but I dont htink that they were imported to OZ .Maybe they had enough A's in the warehouse until the YZ125C 's can along.

Alas, it is true - I prefer to learn about useful stuff, any leave the study of turds to others, like Vandy.  ;D

Plus what motomaniac and Vandy said.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Not wanting to doubt you guys that obviously know your Yamahas but why can't I find a photo of one anywhere. There are mentions of them on various parts sources like Bike Bandit and sutch but no complete bikes. All I want IS to see is a photo of a YZ125B and not the 1991 model. I Googled and got zilch which sets off my doubt mechanism.
