TM400 for young Frosty.
« on: August 18, 2009, 02:25:25 pm »
Here you go Michael, just what you've been looking for, and it's one of the original orange bad boys! I realise it's in Colorado but if you organise yourself properly it'll owe you around $1500 landed, at your front door. If you need help with shipping advise and help, drop me a PM matey.

mmm. that wouldn't be a bad price at all but sadly while it's a genuine J model widow maker it's not the original orange model. That only appeared in '71 :'( shame about that as I reckon the orange suits Suzuki's far better than yella ::) I was also watching this out of interest and someone got a bargain! The seller has quite a bit of TM400 stuff. Not really rare at all in the US ;)

i have been contacted by 1 of the usa sellers you have been emailing.
you need to talk to paul as he can get the bike shipped to vic
i can get it to nsw
mark can get it to qld.
the seller is willing to pack and ship to long beach ca.if it is in boxes the bike should cost you no more than 1500.00 including buying it.it is in new york but the seller might get a deal with shipping as he is a manufacturer of motorcycle stuff.
giv it a go its not that hard but you need to be aware it can take up to 3 months.i know someone who is paying 250.00 just for a little motor to be air mailed to australia
cheers
jim

i can get a bike del to sydney from long beach ca much cheaper than 1 del to sydney from western australia.
in fact my cz 400 cost less from hesperia Ca than my tm300en i bought from mildura victoria.

Thanks Jim that is good to know I am not sure as I am not in hurry it doesnt matter if I don't have one straight away I have a project rm400c I have got 1 bike interstate from Queensland and to my door it was a bit less than $300. I always thought I would find one in Australia but I am not sure how many came here and where they are all hiding I have even tried wreckers they have all ts but no tm's. Maybe no one wants to part with tm400's which is strange considering a bad rep who knows thanks alot Michael. :)
