« on: July 03, 2009, 10:08:56 am »
Jusr bought the bike, looked in the Clymers Manual and only shows a round slide carbie settings, when it should be a Flat slide.

Carbie No VM38
Jet neeedle 6FJ41
Main jet 290
Pilot jet 60
Needle Jet Q-8
Throttle cut away 4.0
spigot size 43mm
Bell 62mm
Body length 116mm

Does this sound right

The 83 RM250 carb is definitely TM38. I have a 83 RM250 carb in my attic if you'd like me to pull it apart and check the jetting for you.
