Warren try an after market pipe, standard is a bit restictive. A 125 CDI should make it rev harder, and i can sell you a spare cylinder to practice porting with  :)

Alternativley sell it and buy my 400 T  ;)

You could also fit a 38mm carby instead of the std 36mm and possibly bore the engine to 400cc and use the C model piston.

You should try and ask the guy who was nailing the pre78 races at Crawford River Classic at Buladelah on the weekend - I don't think you need any more speed than that thing had. It was amazingly fast, until he endoed at top speed down the back straight whilst leading.

Thanks. When asked what i wanted for xmas last year I said a gmc pipe for my cz. Great now she wants to know why I sold my present and need a new one? Will be getting a new pipe from cycleworks this time.
The tops never been off this motor & still fells tight. How about the airbox mine has the top still on and the 3 bungs in the side. The 370 wont light up like the cz out off corners.May need to go for a run or 2 BUGGER.

That would be the first thing to do warren , open the airbox. Dont forget to do a plug chop after, it may need re jetting .

You boys are playing nice today. I'm absolutely astounded that no one has advised Veda to sell the thing and get a Maico ;D

with a 370 that original I wouldn't mess with it. But if you have to then some suspension upgrades would probably get you there faster. Good set of shocks can often feel like you have added 10 hp when you track and hook up harder, also you haave A forks, later model B or better after market ones would also get you going quicker.

To my way of thinking the 370 is the perfect motor..... pulls hard enough to keep traction and will  rev out. Remember even one jetting change can be like night and day on a 2 stroke, so start with jetting first.

Gee Marc, you must be a glutton for punishment :D. How many projects have you got on the boil? :o There's two in the pixie and there's  a couple of extra swingsarms in the back ground. And then there's the MX 8).
