ive seen a couple of 2000 to 2002 honda cr500 road LEGAL jobs
go for around 5000 to 7500 grand in the last 12 months........
so what.... :o

andrew when i went to school 6500grand was less than 7500grand.
for what it is and the spares 6500 isnt to bad

yeah having nursed at constant throttle a lurching surging detonating WR500 through the odd road transport section (and KTM 350/520 2 stroke) I have some theories on why open class 2 strokes never made popular road bikes.  ::)

The coloring scheme on that bike is a lot like the DT175 from around the same year.
Wanted - 1978 TS185 frame or frame&motor. Frame # TS1852-24007 up to TS1852-39022

And big two strokes vibrate. You don't tend to notice it until you hold steady revs. A friend slotted a CR500 into a RGV250 frame. Awesome, but unridable ::) (for any length of time). He was going to use it as a track day/ club racer but ended up returning it to the dirt.
