Beautiful resto, well done 8). The color match between the Clarke tank and the rest off the plastics looks spot on.

Kev, where did you get the handlebars from??
I got the handlebar NOS through LWC82PE, a friend of his had them.
They have since been repainted

To be honest the colour match for the tank-sidepanels-front mudguard is pretty much perfect.
But, the rear mudguard (supplied by Vintage Suzuki) whilst a very good quality part is not a perfect match with the rest of the plastics.
I cannot locate a NOS rear guard for love or money.
The bike has now had new tank stickers as i wasnt happy with the ones shown in the pics here, as well it now has a set of Fox Airshox.
It is definitely an office queen and has not had the engine started.
Thanks for the feedback guys

That is simply gorgeous, I see no expense has been spared on that machine. I would love one of those myself. 8)

Yeah thats right, i remember those handlebars. They came from 'suzuki 400' on here and from memory he got them either off ebay or a dealer in NZ. I got NOS PE bars but they are a little higher. Im not sure what else is close to RM bars but i can tell you XT500 bars which are still available are very close to PE bars. They are chrome so you need to paint them champagne gold though.

Better pic here, but this is still an old pic, before the tank stickers were redone.
The bike also has a nos rear sprocket now as well.

Being such a big world wide business that Pyramid Parts are....its time consuming to get items returned and claims to be sorted.
Registered Mail could of shortened the time perhaps.
cheers
