Yep 2 inside and 5 on the outside ( so the paperwork says) still not sure why they didnt make the outside ones disovable too, would be easier.

And this was only the first day too !

Time to hit the long paddock west today-Thanks South Aust for another page in our book..
Four groups of us have spent two days of R&R in the Clare Valley, trying all the real nice Rieslings etc...What gem of a place with all the history, stone cottages and antique shops,Got myself two 74 bike mags and a BSA bike badge.

Poor old Tumesy....therin lays Robs career in vintage racing. For a couple of decades he's been one of the fastest vintage racers in the land on his well prepped Kawas..at one stage he was one of the only racers to have beaten Ronnie Dinsdale and Andy Caldecott fair and square, but his speed is more often than not let down by monster crashes while either out in front or fighting for the lead. When he has a get off it's invariably a biggy.

Rob's a good bloke too, one of the sports real characters.

I think he also realised the other guys aint getting any slower too.
I know he gave Dale newman his 4 banger to ride , will check to see how he went on that.  Rob had some health issue a while back so he is still workig his way back from a low point in his life, but i reckon he had fun weekend no-doubt regardless of where he finished.

Well ,we have made it across the long paddock with over 5000km on the clock and its the last night to sleep with TM and RM in the trailer.
dont know weather to cry or be laughing in joy.....but I know one things i hate the feeling of another vmx adventure ending after only two short weeks..
.Its been great sharing the experience with other vmxer's on the trip over and back.
WA left its mark in more way than one-(who left the CZ tags)  ;)

pre75 250 class-the biggest class's for the event -as our epic show case ,its a bit sad to know that we can't all get together and attend such a Classic event.

MXTV crew couldnt believe how fast the old bikes went  :P
MXTV followed four class's and will feature the Crystal Brook Nationals on October 5th 8.30pm on foxtel.  8)

always remember Rob Tumes in about 94 at Mt Kembla leading in to 1st corner and his KX front hub fell apart and he went down in front of the pack.
