But by that theory - if it can only use one, why would you have 2 then ?  Mine has one, and not 2.

Give me a figure  and you will receive an answer, what condition is the tank, needs repainting, any dents.

I have one in as new condition I don't want to sell, but I don't think paying somewhere between $1000 and $1500 is out of the question for mint one. Costs over a grand to get dints out and repaint.

Last year l bought 74 250,360 YZA AND B Tanks from USA, cost me 500 plus freight to buy, exchange rate was about 90 to 93 cent in the dollar, try to sell them here , and know one would pay the price, so 1000 to  1500 for YZA 125 your dreaming. It would need to be in its new box, and then l wouldn`t pay 2k. Well if you say 1500 for a tank, the whole bike would be worth 6.000 plus if your talking like that. A 1000  to get a dent out, l think your talking  to the wrong person and getting ripped off. Gone are the days of helping another member out. l must change my ways if that is the case.

As with anything its worth what somone will pay for it , whats a YZ 125A without a tank or incorrect tank fitted worth ?

Tanks come up on Ebay from time to time and with the US economy what it is you will probably get a bargain  :)

Someone thought it was worth 2k. Tank gone I was told lastnight. Sold to the UK. Maybe buying power of the pound over the Oz dollar may have helped, but still he got his 2k.

I am still hopeful that ebay will have a few more bargains, but bidding seems same as ever, though I did ping decent Simons front end for $420. Basically anything that is mint and requires no additional work is still expensive.

I saw a cr125 ally tank many dents in it at the dues swap meet the guy wanted $360 for it, only suitable for a race if you are too scared to race with a mint one.
I have a soft spot japanese mxers with aluminium tanks. Two stroke classic Dirt Track...
