Actually...yeah Robert, I certainly did but I had to pay stupid English pounds for the pleasure. I bought myself a nice little used car as well. I just got a birthday call from my ex in California and some moolah from my dear old mum. The girls are throwing me a party down the farm on Saturday so I guess the excitement of entering my last year as a young bloke won't hit until then.  ;D

Hang on, I thought a man in this country is still young until he hits 65.
That's when the goverment pensions us off.

Good to hear you got a present you wanted, to bad you had to pay. But on the bright side you did get what you wanted.

Happy birthday Mark, hope it's a good one. 59 eh? How lucky that those 59 years covered the best dirtbiking years ever! I missed some of those, that'll teach me to be born too late huh.

When we hit 65 do we become recycled.
I can just see the Ebay ad.

Second owner, but only used on Sundays.
Engine is a little tired and water flow not real good, may need a rebore.
Top end is okay but no good with fish names.
Leather is faded and stretched but could do with an oil or make over.
Muffler still works but could use some attention.

Overall in perfect condition ( for his age )

Starting bid 99cents
Buy it now $14 300.00AU
Pick up only no postage.

I'm so glad to be born when I was. That put me in the box seat for the best eras in music, sport (especially motocross) and social change and to be the right age to appreciate and participate in them. I've enjoyed every minute of my time on this planet, even the crook things that have happened have eventually been followed by even better good times. I've had great fun, loved some beautiful women (and one very strange one), and thoroughly enjoyed and competed successfully in my chosen sports of rugby and motocross which I'm still proud to be involved with both all these years after the cartilages cried "enough".
Most of all though,I'm blessed to be surounded by unbelievably loving people who help make my life so complete.Yep...I'm a very lucky man but it's all down to the wonderful people that have accompanied me on my 59 year journey. Here's to the next 41 years.
Thanks all for your birthday wishes both on and offline.
