suzuki speedo

Im after a suzuki speedo for my pe400 they have a brown face and trip meter they look very similar to ts speedo they go up to i think 160kms im looking to find the right one as i have correct bracket and cable so im ready to go when i find speedo thanks Michael. :)

casing is different. not sure if bolt centers line up with PE bracket.

closest one to real thing is a TS 250/400 speedo from around 76 i think. only a PE purest will know its not a PE speedo.

yep. according to Doc, it's the 75 and 76 that had the 21" front wheel. ie a bolt-on. A better trip-meter rewind too!

the PE internals wont fit TS 250/400 case though. TS case has trip meter knob higher up. the only other suzukis i can find with exactly the same speedo cases as PE's is the T350 and T500. ive got a NOS T500 speedo in my hand now (that i bought just to get a good case/parts and to put PE internals inside) and if it just had a brown face with 0-160KM it would look identical to a PE one although most likely not calibrared right for 300x21 tyre.

ok so i just need to try and get this one on ebay and swap the guts into a t500 or something the brown face and trip look fine just the case and glass are a bit ratty but sounds as if there will be a solution i want to get that one first though i will have to see whhat happens the bidding will probably take off at the end thanks Michael.

that one on ebay has me a little suss because im pretty sure that is about the 3rd time ive seen that speedo listed, not sure if its by the same seller or if previous buyers havent paid and hes re listing it?. the way i know is because of the 'spider crack'

i dont know, maybe ask a few questions about its history? i tryed to find an old photo but didnt have one. i would just buy it and if you have issues there is ebay complaints thingy to go through, but im not sure this is same seller as before, it just could be some one new selling it. if you decide you dont want it let me know because then i will have a bid ;D
