Allround Fork springs
« on: December 03, 2008, 07:51:25 pm »
Due to constant pressure , I have now decided to construct and make a run of chrome silicon forksprings  for all 34 mm forks.  OD 26 mm and freelenght 480 mm. That would also cater to take the PD Forkvalve.
The rate I consider to make is 4.5N / mm  ,I  hope that would even cater for  the NSW tracks . Any thoughts , anyone interested.  ???

Brent can you check for the XT 500 ? I think they should fit perfect into them too.

Hello,
Do you make any fork springs to suit a Honda CR125M? My manual doesn't have any specs for the wear limit on the springs - they are 509mm & 510mm respectively, so I'm not sure if they're past their use by date.

Regards, Ron

Walter,

I have both straight and offset axle XT forks here and a day off on Friday so I'll check both and let you know.
Both XT and TT use 36mm forks but the smaller OD springs will fit

I think that rate will be fine for an XT/TT,

Brent

If we make OD 24  26 and 28  that should cover many models. The rest we can make up with preload spacers , I think .

The CR125M springs are 22.50 mm O.D. and the tube is 25.00mm inside diameter

Hey Mr YSS you make an all square fork spring? Some of those old Eastern block countries most likely used um....
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

I'm interested! 4.5N/mm - suitable for a semi-fat, semi-slow bloke like me?

Discount for bulk buy?  ;)
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
