ah yes oldfart, good ol' herbal tea
I knew there would be a valid excuse
funny enough I just cottoned onto to what you meant but I was looking at the dog bowl in the lower pic thinking that would gauge 10 minutes worth of late
KB, actually nine nights, maybe 8 as there would have been a night I didn't play
frame painted with engine fitted as per standard procedure. Result is better than I thought possible and probably better than when I do the full ground up deal as there is no chipping, marking or scratching to worry about when refitting the donk, swingarm etc
anyway a night spent sanding and cleaning each side. A night to paint the frame and the rest was cleaned repaired replaced and repainted before refitting..easy stuff..at the old detailing job I had this type of thing was expected within a week..usually they got their wish as parts not supplied were simply ordered in. Wish I could do that now!
Tim, I don't believe I'll be needing the pipe as this one turned out pretty good and it's only really got 1 ding just behind the footpeg. I do need the stinger bit but I wouldn't pull apart a complete pipe to get it cause it's always the bit that's missing. Thanks a squillion for the offer and if ever you really really feel the need to lose it I would take it for future projects, you see I don't plan on stopping at one of these beasties as I've probably enough to do another if a roller of some type comes along
Lastly sorry for the thread hi-jack but all the while it keeps me remembering I need to look for something on the weekend for the Yuma TS250 this thread started off with
