The Supp Regs are also available on the Wagga club website. http://www.wwmcsc.com.au/
Dave Foster from the club sent me some photos of the track to post but they're in some weird format that I can't download. I'll have another go later.
*Although it may not be relevent to members of this forum, there has been some confusion over the wording of the slider requirements on the Supp regs. Alan Jones rang Dave to clarify the wording and it appears that 250 sliders race with the "chookies" or conventional dirt bikes and that the big class is for two valves bikes. I'll ring Dave myself today to get an even clearer clasification. I also need to find out if pre 70 and pre 65 are open to sliders. Hopefully they aren't but it doesn't say in the regs. Stay tuned.

Here's the Wagga club Press Release:
2007 AUSTRALIAN CLASSIC DIRT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS.

                                         THE NATS ARE BACK!

The 2007 Vintage Dirt Track Nationals, to use it’s unofficial but more commonly used title, will be held at Wagga’s Yarragundry Circuit on Saturday, October 20th.

This great old event has been missing from the calendar for a few years but with the recent record entries at vintage dirt track events country wide, the Wagga Wagga Motorcycle Sports Club has taken up up the challenge to bring this great event back to the vintage off road scene.

Club Spokesman, Dave Foster informed ADB that the Wagga club is going all out to put on an event that won’t be forgotten in a hurry. For the first time in the Nats’ eighteen year history, it will be held under floodlights. Practice and the first round of racing will be held in daylight but after a late afternoon meal break, the racing will resume under lights, creating a spectacular experience for both competitor and spectator alike.

The event has full Australian Championship status and is open to all vintage classes including sliders and sidecars. The resurgence of the Nats has created a lot of excitement within the vintage movement and organizers have indicated that they expect a huge entry roll up from all corners of the country. Already many of Australia’s top vintage dirt trackers have indicated that they’ll be entering.

For more information, call Dave Foster on 02 69255044

Yeah...I really hope you guys can get behind this event like many of you did for the Coffs Nats. I'm not racing but I'll be there both covering it for VMX and helping Jonesy out with his bikes. I've heard that the Clarke family and some other hot shots are coming up from Bendigo and that a bunch of blokes are coming from Mildura. Dave Tanner has hinted that quite a few Queenslanders are also making the journey. If you are entering, please send your entries off now and save poor Dave Foster from the stress that Donny suffered waiting for the late entries at Coffs. I reckon the thrill of racing under lights would have to be worth the trip for any of you who've never experienced it.  At the risk of repeating myself, If we don't use this event, we are certain to lose it. It's that simple.

Can we have a show of hands to see who's entering from this forum?

Hi Guys

I will be there. YZ250H and CR125M2.

Anyone know if;

a) There will be day licenses available for this event?
b) Camping is permitted at the track?

Cheers

Gidday Dave looks like I found a 2nd place now we need a 3rd and 4th etc.. Come one guys we filled 18 pages of hype with the Coffs Nats and I bet this will be just as good and probably better also this hasnt got all those bumpy thingys in front of you. So if you rode at Coffs or Nepean get behind this event and tell your mates to do the same.

correct me if im wrong i just looked at the supps and i cant see a prevision for a national one event licence. if a one event licence can be used that has to be noted in the supps. if this is the case ma should have picked up on this. the supp regs should have read open to national licence holders and national one event licences will be available through motor cycling australia.
 i hope im wrong.
