How much $'s to be able to load pics?

I was wondering, how many dollars would need to be collected/donated, per year, for this site to be able to have an easy load option for pics, like most other websites? Maybe if a thread for each year could have a running total, so we know how it's going, I'm sure many would contribute.

 hey john ! For the not too tech (a lot older members) its allway be a struggle on this site to upload pics and its almost criminal the content that has disappeared from the ozvmx glory days ,sorry but facebook just doesnt compare at all ! it would be so good to see it re -established -cheers

Agreed, if we could easily add pics here, I'm sure it would bring many back, I'd be happy to ditch Facebook and just stay here.

Unfortunately, the file isn't physically uploaded here.
It's just a linked image, hosted elsewhere. Click the image icon and paste in the URL of the image you want to show.
Not perfect, but at least it does mean something can be shown...

The trick is to get the actual pic uploaded to a host site on the net first.

Are a few image hosting sites that also come with their own issues like the photobucket one  that needs an extension added to your browser and that gets a bit techy for many and others start costing.

I tend to use facebook to host and link them and that costs nothing.

So where did this get to?....Is there a dollar figure?...I'll contribute for sure, would be great to see more post and pics on this forum.

It shouldn't cost anything.

Upload your photos to an image hosting site and then insert it's URL using the 'Insert Image' button- lower left on the panel.
